No idea. I did so many of their mbs on horse racing before they changed it to 2nd to sp and done so many football promos in the past – bet in plays and literally every euro offer. I do however think this offer would be end it all though so keen to do it via the shops.

Got 2 very near me and 2 more potentially worth the trip. Still need to check the maths to see how profitable it would all be…

….and see / check how the shop refunds would work – never done it before…. Any advice on this part would be appreciated.

I havent got my account lost it in january. My wife still has hers though which was opened last december i think. I have done some stuff on it like the Euro offers but she mainly uses it playing on the casino now and again which may be why it hasnt been gubbed.

Fog, I drive an hour away every day for Sharbing these days, that is just the journey time to the furthest point away and back without the betting in the shops itself.

Anyway, just to talk about what you said there and wondering if it’s worth it. It’s probably not, but, how I make it work is I hit multiple offers when in there.

For instance, don’t talk of time and effort collecting your money, you can collect it and the / or free bets when doing next round of footie offers so you’re killing 2 birds with 1 stone there. I always collect yesterday’s winnings today, would never drive an hour in evening to collect.

Secondly, if you can, do these early in the day, that way you can do their MB to SP fav offers in shop and their money back to 2nd or 3rd offer too.

Do a footie acca offer if the coupon looks good. Or any other boost they offer.
Yesterday they had Real Madrid to win at evens, Max 100, I got matched for 1.93, small profit but done it a few times, petrol covered so no cost there.

Dan sounds like u r making it very worthwhile so well done

Just wondered which offers the big bookies gave on horses in store. So ladbroke s do they have money back if 2nd or 3rd and similar willy hill if 2nd (to fav)?

Also one of my favourite bets is the extra places in big handicaps. Do they offer these too?

And do they do all the above for all customers or would u need grid cards etc

    Help is appreciated

Hi mate, yes all offered in shops.
Paddy do MB 2nd to SP fave every day alone with MB if 2nd or 3rd in one selected race per day (that one might be Ireland only)

Laddies do MB if 2nd or 3rd on at least 1 card every day, sometimes 2 cards a day there (again might be Ireland only).

Alone with the other price boosts, price lockins they randomly all offer during the day, depends on luck what time you’re in.

And yes Paddies do 2 races a day with extra places (again might be Ireland only but they do it here)
today is Gowran at 7pm and Kempton 9:10
4 places in each race offered.

Reckon I might go and have a wander round on saturday then while the weather is nice and see…problem is there aren’t many paddy powers over here but plenty of ladbrokes plus betfreds for the saturday boosts

Do you tend to do your lays immediately after leaving the shop or wait until you have got home? Thinking waiting is probably less stressful and even though u might lose out sometimes on others u will gain!

I used to lay everything off when I got home, bad way to do things, couldn’t get good matches and often tried to lay in play and ended up losing the entire stake sometimes when trying to be greedy for a good match.

So nwadays I lay everything off immediately. I get good matches while in the shop, they’re matched so I don’t have to worry about them and you know what, I actually seem to make more this way because the amount of BOGs I get a week is a little earner in itself. Got 60 yesterday and 25 today in BOGs.

Cheers – will let you know how I get on saturday

I guess the other thing is to walk out of the shop before placing your lays as to avoid suspicions!

Ah, personally i just do them in there because let’s face it, people have their heads in their phones all the time anyway between Facebook, Twitter, messages, following tips, racing post app etc.
Then again whatever floats your boat

I’m thinking more and more of this. €5 per day per bookie must be somewhat achievable (that’s just a couple money back 2nd races and maybe a decent boost). I plotted a route around Dublin that passes 20 paddy powers in 2 hours. €100 per day, €3000 per month. That’s a wage.

Dan are you absolutely cleaning up?

Just had a muck around on the hull v Leicester game. If your doing shops I don’t see why you can’t just write 2 sheets out and do 25 on each team. Following this my Qualifying losses are around 4 quid. I could get to 4 shops in an hours long trip. So i can basically have QL of 16 quid. If it’s not a draw at half time then I win 100 worth of free bets. Extract somewhere between 85-90 pc and around 70 up.

Could also do the same on Bournemouth v Man U on the same trip. U could also back draw half time at 11/10 to cover it but if this is an offer until October i would prefer to go for the 70 every time over the 16 losses and cheer on goals.

I’ve never done any betting in shops, so apologies if these are dumb questions.
Do you have to give your mobile number or something (to track the bet, in case you get the freebie)?
Is there a specific coupon for this, or are you just writing them out on the generic betslips?

@Fog, I’m not absolutely cleaning up, but I have a good wage. 20-30k a year my logbooks are indicating. Only started Sharbing (in my way with the offers, not in the traditional sense with the footie coupons) since May really. Has been going great and will be amped up a lot with the footie offers.
You should see the wall in my office here at home with betting slips stuck onto it so I can see things at a glance lol

I managed to get close back/lay odds on Leicester to win and then played around with the lay odds on Hull to win at half-time until I got a figure which should give me an overall profit of just over a tenner regardless of the half-time outcome.
