New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.
Can you share these sums?
+0I’ve got all these in front of me now, all laid off. 8 Hull wins and 4 Leicester wins (doing more today before kick off)
Thinking of just letting them run? Far more profit in long run would there be? 200profit or 100 profit if either team is winning at half time?
The Biurnemouth v Man Utd game tomorrow, do the same there. As long as neither game is a draw at half time there’s a minimum 100 profit…Thoughts
Can’t figure out the Enforcer is getting a tenner regardless of outcomes?
+0I would Dan. I’m just deciding whether to do an hours round trip in each of the 4 stores nearest to me and do both matches. Looking at I reckon I’ll be 15 down if it’s draw HT or 70 up if it’s not after taking 85 percent out of 100 quids worth of free bets. U would expect to win 1 and lose 1 so expecting about 55 for an hours work. Just worried that they will think I’m up to something when spending 100 in each store on those outcomes.
+0Yep Enforcers numbers wouldn’t add up unless multiple bets. Let’s say he got £0 qualifying loss on Leics.
So Hull winning ht would give free £25. For argument’s sake £20 after extraction. Hull are around 5.5 for ht. So laying that for £10 would be a £45 liability. I’d make it closer to £3.50-60 guaranteed.
+0May be an easier way to work it out but here’s what i do. Work out my implied odds and use my qualifying loss as my stake and the implied odds as the back odds in the calculator.
Ok as an example let’s say i’ve backed Hull and i have a £1 qualifying loss, but will get £20 after extraction if Leicester winning at ht so implied odds of 19/1 (20.0), £1 in calculator as stake and 20.0 as odds. Then Leics say 2.70 to lay.
Says guaranteed £6.31.
So i have to lay Leics ht for £7.46, liability of £12.69.
If Leics are winning at ht i lose £12.69 + £1 qualifying loss, but gain £20 from freebie.
If Leics aren’t winning i get £7.31 after comms minus £1 QL.
+0I find the trick to not being gubbed by Paddy is just to do one of the offers each weekend. Leicester should be winning by half time but I reckon it’s a sure gubbing on the first few.
+0Just done my first shop. Using the manual sheet on Leicester as a small sharb then writing hull out on a slip. For Bournemouth Man U I’m writing Man U manually as 5/6 is better than 8/11 and for Bournemouth using the sheet which is 4/1

I got 4.33 in shop on Hull to win. Layed at 4.6 on smarkets. For qualifying loss of €1.82.
I use the QL as the stake and figure the effective odds (ie FB value/QL = 20/1.82 = 10.99 effective odds) and stick that into calculator to figure what I need to lay for guaranteed profit.
I got Leicester to win first half layed off €7.30 @ 2.76.
Guarantees €5.33 either way assuming 80% extraction if a free bet.
Odds are a little better for the man utd match. I haven’t layed off the HT result yet as it will probably come down but got Hull backed and laid at 5.0/5.0 and will be guaranteeing almost €7 on that one.
Dan if you have a decent bank roll then it is probably easier for you to not lay off. More profitable in the long run due to not paying commission and higher profit per time invested as you can do it all much quicker without going over board on spread sheets and calculators. But don’t tell anyone that I said that on a matched betting forum. And also be aware that without laying obviously a bad run can mean you see a loss for a number of weeks before the Number Gods even things up.
Enforcer. I dont think that €10 guaranteed profit is possible – maybe check your numbers. You would need to find someone willing to take evens on Hull leading at HT!
+0beesty.
All at one shop? Is it not strange to bet on both results? And mixing coupons and slips? They didn’t ask questions?
Anyway, what I did just for those not used to shops (like me). I wrote Hull on one slip and wrote Bournemouth on another. Handed to the lady and she wrote the odds on them and gave me back printed copies.
+0Im just going to go for the smallest QL in these
+0Helpful comments lads, fair play.
Think I will just gamble on them as I do have the BR to deal with it and good point on I’ll be saving on commission that way Fog.
When I say not laying off I mean for garaunteed profit and not the qualifier itself, of course I’m laying them off.Lads, I’ve been sharbing for months now, they know my handwriting out of hundreds, they’ve told me that in numbers shop. Don’t be so paranoid, they haven’t a clue and / or couldn’t give a fuck.
It’s not suspicious to back both teams in one game, they think you’re just some goof who has never heard of the double chance home / away market lol
Share on lads, let’s milk the shit out of it
+0Cheers Dan when you sharb how much can you get on? Been able to make a few pence in profit by doing Bournemouth and Man U on the sheets. If I whacked 500 on would they be ok?
+0Perfect timing. If Hull had scored earlier, then I would have layed them for half time.
+0No free bet today, backed Hull and they have scored 1.0 at HT!
+0Getttttt innnnnn 4 tokens off the small sharb as well. Perfect start to the season!
