I am very, very interested in some numbers from you guys for a day of your betting. So here are some (key) stats from my spreadsheet for DAY 2 (which was a damn lot better than day 1):
Total number of EW back bets placed: 70
Average back bet stake: £3.35
Highest EW bet: £14.88
Biggest individual win: £65.29
Biggest individual loss: -£13.30
Total bookies used: 3
Total profit: £229.31Obviously these are all retrospective and I have no way to prove that those stats are true, this is just for discussion.
Points to note:
– With just 3 bookies (all gubbed) this is proof that good money can be made even when you cant use free bet offers
– I agressively spam EW bets on those bookies (obviously)
– I do not lay the place
– I back now and lay the win in the 30 mins before the race starts. This keeps the exchange requirement low (i started with £600 in Smarkets at the start of the week)
– I operate only one set of accounts and I am restricted on every single account except for 1. Hence my EW stakes are lowFeel free to add your own stats guys

Glad I got on Technician last night and got a large amount on too. Moonlight Spirit is currently 12/11 with PP/Betfair – 11 with Bet365, 888, Betfred & Boyles

Thats a lovely breakdown of those stats Enigma- incredible profit results from such restricted accounts. I was managing to get stakes in the range of $15-$75 each way- perhaps around 20 bets in all- had a very good day and didnt profit as much as that. Just shows Im prob foolish to ignore often – the very small stake restricted firms I still have an account with.

+0There are currently place arbs on Moonlight Spirit, Cross Counter, Nayef Road, Mekong, and Withheld in that 15:35 with close win back/lay odds. I’m tempted to cover the entire field apart from Stradivarius and let the places run.

haha! An option im pondering also. Dont want to risk too much in the unlikely event that 8 go to post- and 1 dosnt come out of the stalls, and Im left with a massive 3rd place risk on 1/2 horses.
+0Yeah – that’s the risk. Stadivarius has met a bit of resistance around evens and has back down a bit. I’m in a good position on 4 of the 8 horses. That will do me for now!

Just as an added race of interest to maybe keep some interest around 230. The 240 at Newmarket may have some decent BEW chances.

NR’s rollin in the the 115- thought it had small eway value at 16+ R- Now well below cut off at 14R
+0Morning chaps, Enigma that’s some return and shows what can be done with those restricted accounts, something i’m going to be looking into more.
The 3.35 is a real dilemma, the risk of a NR is great especially with the rain about. Was considering laying Stradivarius yesterday with the forecast rain, wish I had now.
