SWI v FRA; ROM v ALB

  • Sort of a MB and chit chat type thread.

I’m doing the Paddy and Coral offers each day, and today:

    SWI v FRA
Paddy – bet £20 on a team to win, and get £5 free for each goal they score.
Coral – bet £10 on a correct score, and get a £10 free bet if it loses

With the Paddy offer, I back the favourite team and overlay. If they don’t score then I lose nothing. If they do win then I lose (today’s example) £1.37, but am uaranteed at least 1x £5 free bet owing to the fact that they must have scored in order to win (yes, I’m a fucking rocket scientist).

With the Coral offer, I tend to lay the correct score for around £5-7, so I’m in with a chance of making a better profit if the score comes in. I lay the free bet in similar fashion, meaning I’ll only make around £1-3 if both scores lose, but have two shots at a decent profit. Today I’ve gone for a five goal scoreline (unlikely yes) with a shot at £149 if it comes in.

It’s a tough game to call. If Romania win and Switzerland lose, then the Swiss are likely to be third in their group. But with 4 points they’d be likely to go through as one of the four best 3rd place teams. A draw would guarantee them 2nd, a win would get them 1st. The draw for 2nd doesn’t suggest high tempo with lots of goals, but defending 0-0 for 90 mins is asking for trouble. I think they’ll keep it tight, but will play hard on the counter. France will go for the win. They’re guaranteed qualification and would ideally like to sign off their group matches with an entertaining win. I suspect they’ll make a number of changes to the team, which will make them weaker at the back whilst the ‘new’ players will be seeking to impress.

Would be nice to have a discussion (for anyone interested), and for other offers to be posted here. Anyone doing any of the FGS offers or 90+ min goals, or other offers they tend to do daily?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

The bigger question is how do you manage to still have both Paddy and Coral accounts?!

Don’t go there Starlord, you that will open up a can of worms haha! I lost coral quick but paddy power are hanging in there!

I like the thread Pavlon! I’m too much of a miser to overlay. I always go for the maximum guaranteed rather than ‘gambling’ on a high profit yet making more if the overlays work in your favour. That and I’m lazy and the tricky bet calculator is useless on mobile lol.

I’ve found it so hard, even as a football fan, to predict scores and results due to the new format of the euros. It seems to have made less for teams to fight for in the group stages now 3-4 points can get you through in third. Too many teams been almost happy to get a point after an opening game win and too many key players being rested, ie greizman and pogba not starting the second France game.

Hopefully though the new format will create really interesting knock out rounds!

Gone for 0.0 Swi vs Fra on Coral, as I want the free bet to use on tomorrows England game, I’ll wait until the odds come to 5 or 6, currently 7.6, I backed on 6.5. Depends on how France look, I may get jittery and lay on 7.0 or 6.5 or 6.0, hopefully no early goals lol

I’m doing Ladbrokes, going for a draw and a France win, I may lay part of the France bet to cover if its a draw, although if the Swiss win, then I’m buggered. May lay both of these, don’t want to lose £40! I’ll use the free bets on England winning scorelines too.

Hopefully should have 4 £10 bets for England vs Slovakia, I’ll cover 1.0, 2.0, 2.1 and 3.1 England. Got a £5 free bet with Skybet for a draw and Paddy Power I’ll do England, no lay, so England better win lol

The ladbrokes offers I have found quite lucrative. Have easily found really tight odds inplay at half time, sometimes made 83-85% returns from the free bets!

    As I feared, Giroud dropped.

My bets on Giroud, Griezmann, Ronaldo and Muller for top scorer that I decided not to lay was a pretty big mistake!

All other games I’ll match bet apart from England, got to go bold for those games.

Ladbrokes inplay odds are good, better than those Bwin wankers!

Bob – yep, I agree. I think Euro 2020 is expanded to 32 teams, which will get rid of this third place nonsense. Too many teams content with a draw. And really, looking at group B, I should be nervous about England maybe not going through, but under this format, I just don’t see us not going through. But the added knock-out stage is welcome.

    Sorry, that’s incorrect – it’s still expected to be 24 teams 🙁

I think England will beat Slovakia and Wales will be beat Russia, we don’t want to finish 2nd in the group and a draw against the Slovaks could see us drop to 2nd.

0-0 For SWI/FRA is 7.2, on smarkets, and i think it’s likely tbh.
I may do B365 Bore draw offers but can’t find tight enough odds.

Yes I think a bore draw, a point suits each team, France will finish top and Switzerland 2nd. I don’t use Smarkets, no PayPal option.

grinning beast – we’ll wait and see if Deschamps has made the right choice. I have 2x Ronaldo, Lewandowski and Giroud. I’ve underlayed them all for a £5-6 loss if they aren’t top scorer, in the hope they’ll avg 2+ goals to cover this loss, and a chance of between £45-65 if any of them end up top GS. Not looking good for any of them.
