manage to get him at 15/15 paddys

on a few others at much bigger prices, anything less than 50/1 i cant find a close enough match, have only concentrated on those paying top 8

as trying to hit 6th on its own, the numbers are not great i dont think

your rory example, say at £50ew costs you £3.10 for a chance at £221, so only the likes of those which are few and far between maybe

    although i will keep looking

adam scott ladbrokes 33/1 is a goer, effective 90/1 to finish 6th

stenson 33/1, effective 55/1 to finish 6th, not sure if i fancy that as long term value

A lot of these come and go, need the time and patience to keep checking back over next 2 days.
Unless oddschecker is massively out of date there were quite a few this morning worthwhile, although just wasted 20 mins finding lower prices on bookie sites and only got on schwartzel for 6th.

i have just signed up to odds monkey, mainly in the hope their tools will help speed things up such as searching for odds and those that look profitable

i have backed a few for 6th to 8th place and also the sole 6th place, the sole 6th place are the better players, as could only get good matches really on the higher prices for 6th to 8th

    How did u use oddsmonkey?
Their Eway matcher seems to be only horses, and no golf on filter for odds matcher

I’m doing it manually, getting roughly 0.30p risk to every £100 profit but only for the 6th place therefore covering more players the risk/return goes up but the actual chance of hitting is greater, (3 players = 0.90p/£100 risk)

I’m sure there’s some kind of maths there…330/1 for a 6th place sounds neat. Especially considering there are only 150(ish) players and majority of those are no hopers. Hoping for a big win again like the Masters, but arbs at the minute are difficult to come across. Backed 4 so far and will hold on till later the off to check if the odds have tightened.

Can I ask who you’re betting on & with who for such low losses?

Whoever pops up on Oddschecker with 1/4 odds and paying 6 places (the 1/5 odds are worth checking and the 1/5 odds/8 places aren’t ideal). At the minute Ladbrokes and Winner are holding prices well. Some are only up for half hour or so though.

    Just a few examples..

Matt Kuchar @ 71, lay 85 and (ew) lay 16
Justin Thomas @ 36, lay 40 and (ew) lay 9.2

Just to add as well as these arbs…

Bruce Betting – boosting Dustin Johnson to 10.0, was laying 9.2 earlier
Mint Bet – Paying out if your winning bet is leading after 1st round and doesn’t win overall. I got Rory at 15/14.5 earlier

Obviously meant that 1/5(6) places are NOT worth looking at. However 1/5(8) are but later on, when there is liquidity in the 6 places market on Betfair. You can often get similar quali losses as 1/4(6) but with the added bonus of 2 places rather than 1.
