William Hill Djakadam & Thistlecrack double

  • Got an email off William Hill offering a double on both of these to win at 3/1 max £10. Checking the exchange the odds are 1.67 & 1.8, therefore, I assume I just lay them one by one, if someone could check my calculations I would appreciate it.

    Lay £10.20 Djakadam liability of £6.83 – if it loses £10.20 *.98 = £10. Loss 0.

    If it wins Lay (£10+£6.83)/.98 = £17.17 @1.8 = £13.74 – if it loses £17.17*.98 = £16.83 0 loss.

    If it wins = £30 – £17.17 – £6.83 = £6?….meh not exactly great I guess, but profit is a profit odds might reduce also (could go up though i guess!) I think i’d be better just not laying or combining with channel 4 money back 2nd just as a back up!

    Betfred and ToteSport both offering 3/1 on Will Hills offer too and Corals were offering it also, but not sure if they still are. Be quick with Fred and Tote because it’s a price rush for happy hour.

    Fred offering between a tenner to 15 depending on how healthy your account rating is. With all of them combined there’s now good money to be made from this offer.

    It’s gone now so, was there this morning. Max a tenner but got a bit more than that on with them

    Djakadam currently 1.8 on WH lay 1.78 = 6p profit, and therefore if it comes 2nd you have you’re £10 staked covered if it doesn’t win so don’t think im laying the first race

    Hmmmm. With the odds being that crappy I actually backed Djackadam to win with sky as well and laid a total of £20 just in case as I fully expected it to win. At least I got my stake money back and a free bet off sky!!!
