William Hill New Horse Racing Offer

  • Hi all. I’m fairly new to matched betting so still getting to grips how to play certain offers. My first thought was this looks good but not sure how to play it. Any advice??

    HIGH 5
    Our New Horse Racing Offer

One in three National Hunt (jumps) races were won by five or more lengths last season.

With that in mind, we give you our new racing offer – High 5. Place a bet on selected jumps meetings, and if a horse wins by 5 or more lengths…

» Back the winner and you’ll get a 25% bonus.
» Finish second and get money back as a free bet.

There’s a High 5 meeting every single day:
    ‣ Friday and Saturday – All jumps meetings.
    ‣ Sunday to Thursday – One selected meeting.
    ‣ All live Channel 4 races

It all starts this Friday, just in time for the top class racing at Cheltenham’s three day Open Meeting.

So if your horse romps home, or finishes behind a clear winner, we’ve got this jumps season covered.

You’re crazy, this offer has paid out amazingly well over the last week. You have to pick the right horse.

Yeh looks like it’s been decent again today…but odds are u aren’t gonna hit everyou winner like chris says

Rule 4 I think almost always is a good thing tho if u don’t back before getting your lays on like me…as smarkets reduce the odds by more than bookies

Thanks for explaining when rule 4 could be a problem, I always back and lay at the same time so this should be a non issue for me? That makes sense though if you did it later.

Is it just me or are the WH listings for Southwell today not showing any form or verdict?

Feckity feck…. picked the winner then changed mind at last minute because the fav flipped and I was getting a better match on the other one.

That last race sums up the horrible run of luck I am presently having with each way bets. Had £100 ew on Hardrock and Zabeel, layed the win early then watched them both arb like crazy. Underlayed place on both as they were big arbs too and neither of them placed.

Lost count the amount of times I’ve covered the 2nd and 3rd favs only for them to both flop. Whenever I go for an outsider it falls.

I’ve angered the ew arbing Gods.

Just cover more horses if you can, i usually cover about 4-5 – Odds depending obviously. You’ll bag more 1+2’s when a 5 length happens.

I find that if you back more than 3-4 horses in the same race especially when there are 8-15 runners, at least 1 of those isnt going to arb. No point making a big loss before the race is even off.

You can back as many as you like for this offer and get paid for first and second.
