New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Thanks for sharing, guys.
Nice little offer that. Thanks for sharing, @kierbrook.
Thanks for sharing, @kierbrook.
Great that you could get a sizable stake down on it. Let’s hope they offer more of these.
Thanks for sharing, @colingrey1.
It’s certainly worth people checking that out.

Hi @neil-s,
If you know you stand to either win £46 or lose £70, you can use the difference between the two (£116) to calculate whether or not it’s worth cashing out.
I don’t know what the back odds would have been for the remaining two teams to win, but let’s say they were 3.00.
You divide £116 by 3.00 to get a back stake of £38.67. That locks in a profit of just over £7 no matter the outcome, so a fair bit short of the £14 you’ve already locked in.
It’s usually best not to cash out and let your bets run.
I hope that helps.
Hi @neil-s,
Like extra place offers, you’ll lose a lot more of these than you’ll win, so you must keep your qualifying losses to a minimum.
If you’re staking £10, keep your qualifying losses down to around 20p – 25p.
If you do that, then you should be nicely in profit when you hit the refunds.
I hope that helps.
Hi Hamish,
Not all price boosts have value. If the boosted back odds are no higher than the lay odds, it’s likely the case that the back odds were poor to start with or the boost was only slight.
You can find more information about them in my ‘Price Boosts‘ guide.
If you’re looking to progress beyond the sign up offers, I recommend looking at the Reload Offer Calendar for daily opportunities available to existing customers. Level 6 of my Matched Betting Academy will help you transition to reload offers.
I hope that helps.
If we could keep things constructive, @nick2punt, it would be much appreciated.
Yes, @neil-s, if you feel you’re ready, you can try learning some of the more advanced strategies. There may be some sign up offers you’ve yet to tackle, too.
I recommend working your way through my Matched Betting Academy. It’s a structured course that walks you through all the sign up offers, teaching you new strategies as you go.
You can tick each one off as you go to ensure you’re not missing anything.
I hope that helps.
Thanks for sharing, Tony.
Just be careful laying Sky Bet bets on the Betfair Exchange. The two brands are part of the same group, so you don’t want to attract any unwanted attention to your Sky Bet account.
The odd bet is probably fine, though. Just be aware.
Hi @matt9107,
I missed this, so sorry for the late reply.
The latter is correct. Wait for offers and use your bankroll to fund your qualifying bets.
My Matched Betting Academy will take you through all the available sign up offers and then introduce you to reload offers, where you continue to make recurring daily profits.
I hope that helps.
