ACCA (again sorry!)
-
Hi Guys,
First post in a while!Thought it was time I started on the Acca’s. I feel the best method for me personally is the Lay all at the start method, I presume the no lay method is probably more beneficial, however guess i’m just a wimp!
Result Bookmaker Exchange Your Profit
All win (24%) £68 -£40 £28
1 lose (40%) -£5 -£7.50 -£12.50
2 lose (26%) -£25 £25 £0
3 lose (9%) -£25 £57.50 £32.50
4 lose (1%) -£25 £90 £65
All lose (0.1%) -£25 £122.50 £97.50I found the above online, this is based off a £25 stake and back and lay odds of 1.3/1.32. I assume this is correct?
Any tips would be appreciated!

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yes, I’ve had a pretty bad month on accas. Don’t think I’ve won a single one, and barely got any free bets. It’s just total carnage.
I’m finding there are not many options to put in the accas, so like you I ended up using Utd in pretty much every acca for the weekend. There’s only so many tight matches about 1.33 and going up to 1.5 really kills the value. So same teams in all my accas, one team loses all lose. Massive variance.
I don’t have as many bookies here either, vernons and others that do acca are not available in Ireland.
+0If I hadn’t done this last season to build up funds and see the value not sure id start now
Fred (rarely any value), bwin (1 or 2 a week), bookee (1 a week as hard to use), dafabet (good), mintbet (rarely any acceptable total odds), and hills (good but 7.50 max). Those are the 6 im left with
+0I’ve more or less given up now. Haven’t done any for ages, I did some calcs a while back and found the variance was just too stressful to deal with, and I just can’t be bothered with all the faffing around involved if one employs the lay each leg strategy.
I guess the bookies just got fed up with the money we were all taking from them. I was hoping it would have lasted until around xmas (I think my accounts would have all gone by then).
There doesn’t seem to be any quick and easy methods left to make decent money from the bookies anymore, if you want to make some good money you really have to put the time and effort in.
+0Ffs rangers,95th minute!
+0I’ve taken a break from these – to rebuild my bank! Was quite the disastrous month.
I am glad that I did because looking at the results lately I don’t think I’d have had any winners. PSG failed to win at weekend and Arsenal drew in the EFL cup and I am guessing Rangers messed up something!
+0Rangers turned 2 winning accas into freebets, and a freebet into nothing. Just over 250 cost roughly
To top it off they missed a penalty just before conceding in the 95th minute… and the William hill app I downloaded gives you a nice patronising message about which leg let you down. Haha
Still plugging away as although I’m going backwards it’s often 3 x 20% stake losses because of the freebet and 1 x 100% stake loss. Because of overlap when one does come in there may be a few wins and a nice variance correction…. I hope
+0Sorry for those that lost money but the Rangers results was one of the funniest things I’ve witnessed in football. Anyone backing that mob at the moment needs their head examined.
I got lucky on my acca with Cagliari v Benevento last night.. Benevento scored penalty in the 93rd minute to bust my coupon then Cagliari went ahead again 1 minute later.
