New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Put it on Chef D’Ouerve, another flop.
I save the boosts for underlay opportunities so I can get £20-40 if they come in otherwise its a waste. Having said that, nothing has popped up today so probably save it for Watford vs Utd game which is a 4 Means More.
+0A waste? I wouldn’t call £10 + a day a waste guaranteed…?
+0Well a) thats assuming you can get £10 a day and b) you know I always go for the underlays. Doing that method on favourites more often than not pays off so whilst you may make £70 over 7 days, I only need two horses to win on the underlay to make that. It also means I dont need to use my boost every day and less likely to be gubbed.
+0Hope you used your boost on Man United Chris haha!!
+0Unfortunately not, the boost and lay odds only gave me 1.79/1.77 so wasnt worth it given max stake was £200 so only a potential £1 profit on the underlay and £21 free bet.
Went for the draw instead, boosted to 3.96/3.8 but was not to be.
+015:35 Wetherby looks ok…. 9 runners and 2 heading the market.

Possibly races abit too competitive after the faves so not expecting any great arbs.
Backed Jam Power at 20/1 in the 5.10 Kempton though.+0Looe Bay probably be the one to be on for the place if you can get a decent price.
+0gone with birch vale, probably have another look later
+0this damned thread! Matt, can you sort out the fact it goes to the first page instead of the last every time you post or open it? cheers
+0I have been doing MB for about 8 months now and I recently started doing bad EW races using couple of gubbed accounts. Can the experienced folks please let me know if I have correctly identified today’s bad EW races:
12:20 Punchestown 24 runners
13:05 Hereford 14 runners
13:45 Wolverhampton 11 runners
14:20 Wolverhampton 13 runners hcap
15:35 Wetherby 9 runners
15:45 Hereford 12 runners
16:10 Kempton 14 runners
17:10 Kempton 9 runnersAlso, it would be great if you can let me know why I should not go for any of these shortlisted races.
+0Some of us have differing ideas on what makes a race a bad ew race but here are my opinions for you.
2:20 Punchestown 24 runners – No, too many runners
13:05 Hereford 14 runners – No, too many runners
13:45 Wolverhampton 11 runners – No, there is not much to seperate the top 6 in the market
14:20 Wolverhampton 13 runners hcap – No, you’re seeing 1/4 odds and thinking there is something there that isnt. Its just a regular race
15:35 Wetherby 9 runners – No, too many horses clustered around 12-14/1 prices
15:45 Hereford 12 runners – No, probably a few too many runners and 2nd, 3rd and 4th favourites too evenly priced up
16:10 Kempton 14 runners – No, too many runners, if the 3rd or 4th fav was withdrawn, it may be of some interest and value
17:10 Kempton 9 runners – No, too many horses clustered around 9-12/1 prices+0Thanks a lot Chris.
When you say too many horses, is it because it reduces our chances of being placed when we are under laying? But if there are non-runners incase of fewer horses, there will be a risk of reduced number of places right?
+0Some good value in 3.35 Wetherby now. Aslong as no more NRs.
Got small maxes at 365 on Dancing Amy at 16s then again 14s.
+0Non runner in the 15:35 makes it a bit more appealling.
