My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Not much today…. 14:35 and 15:45 only ones that look ok but will need a non-runner or two.

What a rubbish week of racing, glad we had that Tuesday race at Wolverhampton.

there’s a non-runner in the 3.45, so we’re in for a fun afternoon of stressing as to whether there’ll be another….

Still not a good race to target for me, the non runner needed to be in top or middle bracket rather than an outsider.

Also its an Irish race so the liquidity will be non existant, I’ll be avoiding regardless.

Yeah poor looking day again. Chelmsford 5.55 might throw up some value, but again 8 runners and not massive reward for the risk.

Backed Filbert Street 17.0 in any case.

I’ve found that during the week its best to use your William Hill boost on horse racing but not at the High Five meeting where odds are garbage (unless you’re happy NOT to be making potential profit on your boost without a High Five free bet).

Their odds are garbage until 10 mins before the off, as they do BOG they have to come in line with other bookies at some point.

But using your boost on a short price is never gonna make much anyway.

Disagree, odds are poor right up until the off, its almost as if they are using boosted odds against the exchange odds rather than the true odds. The first three races today, nothing has gone close to a match and by close I mean by 0.2 or closer. Relying on BOG is basically gambling.

Lethal Angel 5.55 being backed on exchange. Still 50s some bookies. Pp bfair victor.

Contrast that with the 1.55 at Market Rasen for example, a three horse race so not worth bothering with but each of the horses is a close match.

They are more cautious with high 5 odds, but not all garbage. I’ve had 3 decent shots the last 4 days, and the 4th day I didn’t even look at odds till after racing had finished

I do sometimes gamble on odds falling, but wouldn’t take something that’s not boosted to some kind of arb as my starting position

Once the bookies go to industry prices (around 10 minutes before the off) you are normally able to get a decent arb on your boost.

Depends on what you think is a decent arb I suppose. I’m not interested in making £5 off a £200 stake.

TBF without too much effort I got Alpine Secret 3.96/3.75 (boosted) and Deise Vu 29/26 (unboosted) in the 1345.

Think sometimes they are tighter than others.
