Worked out for me though…. couldnt get a close match on the fav for high5 so went £125 ew on the winner at 6/6.2. Underlaid the win and overlaid the place so hit a nice profit and a high5 bonus.

Tried to get on Cold Shoulder and 26 and missed by seconds at 188bet though.

I suspect I will lose this WH account because of it….

Madame Claud in the 1.45 must be a pretty terrible horse…. £476 available to back at 1000..

Lost another acount today (Tote) after hitting a 7-1 winner with a £25FB (I dont even know why it was in my account). I’m now convinced despite all the talk of beating SP and complicated algorithims to catch MBers what they actually do is just gub anywone that hits a big price winner with a FB.

After last weeks terrible racing and the weather this week, I’ve switched to doing a bit of exchange betting with great success thanks to a lucky run. I basically target games where a team, preferably the pre-game non-favourite is two goals up and lay them. Its crazy the amount of times a 2 goal lead is thrown away. Since the weekend I’ve won on the following:

Layed Troyes £102.04 (£20 liability) at 1.20 when they were 2-0 up against Monaco – Monaco won 3-2
Layed Brondby £204.08 (£8 liability) at 1.04 when they were 2-0 up against bottom of the Danish league – Drew 2-2
Layed Reading £204.08 (£24 liability) at 1.12 when they were 2-0 up against Cardiff – Drew 2-2

So made £500 from gambling with very limited exposure. I lost £7 laying Marseille who didnt throw away their lead. Also keen to point out that backing at the bookies/exchange was not as profitable as the odds were nowhere near as good and obviously by laying the team in front you get a chance at winning from 2 out of 3 possible outcomes (draw or the other team wins). And before you all jump on me like usual, yes, I know:

Its gambling
I’ve been very lucky so far
