  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    Might be risky, yes i took Pastoral at 9.5 which is 3.13 1/4 odds to place 2. Laying at 1.88. But with horses dropping like flies I can see this race going to win only …

    On that from earlier at 29.0 but not sure what rule 4 will be though. 2nd fave was massively underpriced at the bookies.

    ffs been ages since I’ve done one of these and now stuck playing Russian roulette with drums of war. haha

    I was going to try and cash out but someone came into my office, the split between 3 and 2 places on Betfair was ridiculous 1 minute before the off so ride it out. I normally hit the minus place when doing this

    Some value available in the 14:25 Plumpton…. odds on fav in a handicap hurdle (for no apparent reason).

    Went off fav for last 7 starts and won 1 so if you want to move money to exchange could be a good one to be on.

    So drums of war was probably the 4th best horse of 7, but a refusing to run favourite and the 2nd favourite falling 2 out when clear explains why it came 2nd
    That with the winning margins explains why most of the field was 1000 to back in running too!

    Fav finishes 2nd in a tight 3 way finish….if you actually backed that at 1.7 you need your head examined.

    Managed to move a load to exchange and had the 3rd EW with a profit boost.
