Bad EW Races NO CHAT

  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I think that’s happened to me anyway! I get a bit annoyed if I lose a bit more, bit excited if I win a bit more but it’s just like playing monopoly with a lot of hotels where the longer you go on the more money you get… and it feels like pretend money!

If i did not laying the places I could probably get more in midweek with the time issue, but if I did midweek bad each way races on a slight reigned in stake it might just be wasting my accounts potential

On a different note my place value calculator showed it’s worth on drums of war – implied place value was 5.1, and was trading at 4.1…. got my lay in and it corrected itself soon after. This was shortly before the withdrawals where I’m convinced the whole place market was skewed and someone with a calculator for both 2 and 3 places, time and most importantly composure/reactions could made a lot

Have to agree with that. On restricted accounts i’m pretty much punting all bets on mid to big priced runners. Stakes ranging from £10ew to £2.50ew (or smaller maxes). We all know the value is in the place but like accas you get the buzz from the winners. Far less stress and cuts out alot of time too. Do have some poor losing days but just have to trust the long term variance.

    Nor really a bad E/W and a risky 5 runner. However, 2.20 at Fakenham…

Oakidoaki is currently 21 at Freds and Totes. Laying at 15 on Betfair.

I think about 3 or 4 horses went odds on inplay in the 12.50 Catterick… the Fav finally won after trading at 100.0 in play (misses High5 by 1L).

Another Fav goes short odds on inrunning before losing…. I had a punt on it at 4.4 but managed to lay off my stake at 1.7 (went as short as 1.4 in running).

Could be that the money for some of these horses is down to the EW arbers and not anything to do with form.

What happened No Alarm, I thought he would run on for third after Dakkar fell at the last!

Nothing for me there. I missed the value on potters so didn’t have him, had most of the rest that never placed!

Nice results on Potters Legend for anyone brave enough to wait till the off to lay… I had a little at 25/25

A couple of high5 winners at Catterick made a decent day.
