  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    Lulu Star and Now Say Yes are both 81.0 in lots of places..

    Both around 8.0 to lay the place on the exchange..

    Wanted to try this out today, as I have been looking at this thread for a long time. Went for Be My Angel, backed at 17, just layed at 11/1.57
    Not huge stakes but it worked out and still a nice little profit. Need to try these a bit more.

    Yeah, Be My Angel was only ever a small ew arb when I looked.

    Odds were miles out on Sayf Shamal, a shame because I love a decent second favourite..

    1.45 and 2.50 at Naas both look ok.

    The 1.45 only has 8 runners!

    Waikiki Waves 33s at pp in the 3.45 Fontwell. Risky 8 runners but happy to chance it, with little else going on..

    Edit. Instantly dropped to 22/1. So not really worth it now.

    33s looking pretty decent now, the win odds at the exchange are in to 26s..

    Interesting race the 3.45, a good one for the favourite backer (assuming there are no non-runners)..

    If you get a decent match on any of the first 3 EW you should have an ok arb on the place.

    What is it with feckign bookies that think it is ok to change the price of a horse in your betslip when accepting the bet.

    Placed bet with horse at 3.25… accepted at 3.0.

    Hello all.

    Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. I managed to stick to not betting over the festive period apart from a nice ew win on the King George (Tea for Two) and a very nice win on Mick Jazz at Leopardstown although the less said about that festival the better. Terrible news with Nichols Canyon and all the other typical dodgyness going on there.

    Anyway, came back to work with mountains of stuff to do so will very slowly ease my way back in. Pleased to see Bet Boost still there at both my Hills accounts today.
