That is one big drift on the Fav in the 13:00… the one that drifted in the first race yesterday that Johnson was on ended up winning.

1.75 when it opened out as far as 3.75

Tempted to have a small punt on the 150/1 shot in the 3 runner race at Leics. Off chance of something daft happening over fences!

Well you have about a 1 in 20 chance of the Fav falling…. maybe higher in the heavy ground.

A couple of races yesterday were carnage so I think I have a couple of quid on it if I can get a sily price.

Underlayed Secret Legacy after it shortening. Be a nice start to the day.

haha, saw it coming! Knackered over the last, no legs left to keep it upright. Bah.

Someone knew Don Des Fosses was going to run badly today…. stupidly had a small punt on it.

Transpennine Star getting up for 3rd saved a total wipeout, I think Secret Legacy was beat when it fell.

Yeah I thought so too, but would’ve stayed for a place at least to get me a bit of profit. Nicely done on TP, at least somebody wins!

Not many jumps in this Chase… 3 missed out down the straight.

Slightly off – topic, but has anyone been following the parliamentary seminar supposed to be held today about the “minimum bet rule”?

Smarkets are 0% comms at Exeter tomorrow (24th jan)
the 2.15 has a short fave so might throw something up. 11 runners tho so need a couple of NRs

That parliamentary seminar is interesting, Phillip Davies MP has a ingenious way of getting ungubbed. He complained about not being able to get bets on so struck a deal to lobby parliament on Ladbrokes behalf if they raised his limits.

Thanks for sharing, interesting read. I didn’t hold much hope before deathstar pointed out this guys bent –

The gambling commission actually support the bookies here in terms of blocking winning customers, to the degree of closing accounts so if a minimum bet comes in we’ll just end up with no accounts.
Skybet are as bad as any of them. Down to £10 max win (lower on boosts or dodgy stuff) now after a 6.50 eway bet on an outsider golfer places. Any triple figure win seems to trigger staking restrictions with them

The MP for this area doesn’t care as ignored my letter when the gambling commission did (feebly) reply. This guys only raised it as he has an ulterior motive…. Ladbrokes restrictions again maybe

I would say imagine a world where we can get £20 min bet across the board…… but it’s been a year now since the gambling commission ruled companies should be transparent on gubbing criteria and look how that played out.

Where have all the bad EW races gone?!! 1415 at Exeter tomorrow is a possibility. Will check again in the morning but not getting my hopes up.

I think the 1415 is going to be one of those races where the back and lay odds are going to be too far apart to get decent value.
