Qaafaal on Stan James 11/11 for Chelmsford 15:40 looks potentially good.

Took £20, no underlay. Would only be an extra tenner anyway. Thanks for pointing the race out, wasn’t looking today.

Ort to have held off laying the win on Rockspirit though, wowzers.

There’s a definite art to this.

Took 6/5.7 and underlayed the place at 2/1.75 (partially due to being in a meeting at 3:30.

6s had gone on rockspirit, went to 5.5 for Ladbrokes and discovered they won’t let me win more than 50 on anything now. My open accas best all win as freebets above 10 won’t be much good now!

Guys, when the win is a QL are you still under laying the place?

I know Chris pretty much always underlays but was wondering how he mitigates the loss made on the win side- just take it as so much value in the underlay on the place?

Johnbo, it’s personal preference. I would suggest-to start with just take the guaranteed profit, when you have made a few quid underlay the place to break even, then gradually reduce your place lay. That way you are getting value from the oppurtunity at each stage as you will always be in profit with it. It also depends on the horse, if you reckon it has a chance of placing lay accordingly.

Pixleen in the 16:00@Bath one to keep an eye on. 34/30BF with a few bookies but no liquidity.
