I do a few small trades based on how close the bookies and exchange markets are- the closer the markets, the easier it is to know what will get backed in and do a trade.

If there is a really short fav, the disparity between the markets will make it too difficult to trade as shown by lulu today, got smashed in at bookies but exchange price actually drifted because it was a 2 horse race and the % backing lulu would have been too small to impact the market…

Yep got it. Boosted to 2.29 too so double the pleasure.

Barrakilla just hits High5 at Bangor…..small arb (3.5/3.4) that could have been better if I had held off.

I had exactly the same arb too bbobb but he was stuck on 3.4 for so long, I thought he was going to drift.

I think the fact they were going so slow at the end helps (1.25 seconds is the key).
