Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Seem to be stuck waking early after Cheltenham. Looks some good races today.

Just the 3.35 for me today.
Got some good early prices on Silsol (17) and Western Climate (15) both arbing on the win now.

A few decent ones if you can get 1/4 odds.
I have a little java application that scans oddschecker overnight reads the odds and reads the ew terms. These are all over broke on the place book – might indicate possible opportunities to arise.

Not possible to completely automate experience and instinct in spotting races, so dont shoot me if you dont think these are your version of what a bad ew race is. Just saying that they are over broke on the place market.

Always said I’d be doing this race bbobb, too good to pass on. Made loads off it last year but definitely the only one I am looking at today.

I think Cheltenham gave some of us back our enthusiasm that had been dampened by gubbings and restrictions.
Also I think we are addicts! Winning addicts, but addicts all the same!

Took Bob Ford on PP for extra place. I will try and get a match at 17/17 and 4.2/4.2 to make it a free chance.

All it does adio is open oddschecker main page, list the race links, loop through the links, on each link find the horses/odds and ew terms, calculate the place terms, overround, place prices etc and log to a database.
Using Selenium to automate the browsing and a lot of xpath expressions to identify the elements on the pages to pick the horses odds etc.
I’m not a good java programmer but can do some basics badly. So it’s a bit clunky but works for what I want.
