Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Had 1st, 3rd and 4th.
Regal boosted and underlayed 28.05/24 at Hills too plus High 5 £100 free bet.
Big arbs on the others apart from Western who didnt place anyway. Lost £12 on a win lay.
Wow just wow. That Hills account is GONE.

Your exchange float must be massive though, so when you do retire you can probably convert your float into a brand new car or something.

I got some on Regal. My tip his win lay finally came in to 17.0 so was no loss on the win. Place drifted bizarrely as the win shortened. Didn’t get the match I wanted so let the place part run … he ended up one of the first to drop out the back.
+0Chris even had 5th too, annoying as my other runner was 6th! Had that un for 5 places.
Going back to your early post FOG, interesting stuff. Was your figures assuming 1/4 on all the best win prices? Or 1/5 if that was best bookie price. I could see the place value in most of those races but the 4:25 looked like every price would need to be 1/4 for value.

Yes, Mb, that race was 1/4 odds with Bet365, that’s why it would have come up for me to check.

I don’t know if anyone has a logical set of rules for highlighting bad ew races/horses ( a bit more mathematical than a “short” favourite, a “few” really long odds shots, “about” 8 or 9, or 16 or 17 runners ) . Seems logical to me that checking the total price on the place book is one indicator – but there are all sorts of race profiles where there might be value on some horses and not on others or there could be a big overround on the place book but still be a horse in there that is value.
+0Cheers, yeah that makes plenty of sense. I like the idea of just covering the whole field at bookies but just not got enough accounts to make the stakes worthwhile.

Setara I couldnt get online earlier as I was out hitting pp/boyles etc and my phone battery/internet fcked up. I was gonna post that good news was in at PP as the MB 2NDS was back at wexford. Will post up early doors tomorrow if/where its on- scooped up about a ton today there from the 2nds/underlays.
As for my battery going that led to an amazing touch for me!. it happened at around 330 when im out trying to lay off my 4 E/W shots(backed in shop at Boyles/PP due to restricions online) in the 335. Had just got my my 1st lays in with battery/time running out and just my 30 E/W on Regal 25/1 to lay off before kick off when phone went dead! unreal + 900 and I had Alfie Spinner £30 ew 16/1for the 5th place bully. Best day by miles since I started this bad ew/sharbing caper a few months back. £800+ last 2 days at Chelt- unreal 3 days for me!.
Looks a crap day tomorrow but I will be out there shop ‘grafting’ again.Prob wishfull thinking but maybe the 450 Carlise & Navan 325 will throw up some e/w scraps

U win some u lose some..only gambling online today Boyle’s covered all uk/ire meets mbs got 2 MB’s plus a faller (60) . Tenner on Ireland enhanced with Boyle’s 2-1… Cheltenham was basically bog on balko and bog on farclas plus mb on Samcro race…

Haha n1 Setara. Had the little boost on Ireland at Boyles as well- and that nice Bog on Farclas at Chelts. Up until last couple of weeks had always been home before races started- and that the first time I had had the phone mess up ( had 2 battery booster things with me which had both emptied also) on me. It wont happen again as I will always go out fully charged with multiple back ups from now on! quit taking chances while im up!. Only time it happened online was a couple of months back when Betfair went down for an hour or so and I couldnt lay off a £20 e/w on a 25/1 shot whch ended up winning! malfuntions seem to be lucky for me!
The Boyles offer and PP money back if Fav wins 1st race(1st 4 on day 3)at Chelts proved very nice for me- somewhere around +500. Only really targeted about 7/8 races at Boyles( 3 came in) and as many closy matched horses as poss in all the PP specials.
These mb2nds at PP are great. I have 6 shops now in a reachable route (about 1 hour on bike) Still not sure of best horses to go for- Short price favs/2nd favs. Tend to bet on as many horses around 3-1 and under which are laying closley at the time- pick fields under 9-10 runners and underlay about 25% on them. Whats your tactics on the mb2s?.
I’m heading down to PP shortly and will post up here around 10 or so if/where the PP offer is on today and also if Boyles have anything decent going on.

Limerick 2.30, 4 places at sky might be the only one to look at today.
+0Powers 6-4 7-4 tend to back the 2 , lay, and hope 1 comes in. Also if standalone fav sometimes try it
