Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

Surprised bookie (888 was it) paid out on 2nd @harris. The horse was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn before coming under starters orders and so was a NR. That’s how I saw it, but WTFDIK. The place money went on the win – payday jackpot if you had the winner, black jackpot if you had 2nd. Good bit of luck there for you – didn’t realise bookies could be so generous.

I had both the winner and 2nd, but had a lot more on second so broke even on the race, would have been a fantastic result if Zabeel had won or not placed!

Will avoid 5 runner races from now on though if on the flat…

As expected, my Hills bets on Carraig Mor and Distracted in the 16.45 yesterday have now been settled as losers. Ah well!

….but, my ew bet on Unioniste in the same race has been settled as win only, whereas the exchange settled the place as normal.

So I’m up about the same as I was before.

Yesterday was my lucky day.

Ahhh shame for me even though only small. Strange they’ve settled that as Win only though, looks like a potential angle to exploit then..

That was my thought but, how often does a race have only one finisher? Pretty rare presumably!

Can’t see much today, maybe the 16.15 at Wetherby (only 8 runners), could be decent for high5.

Doubt this will be as easy in reality as it seems on paper, but….

From the 25th May a new regulation comes into force, GDPR (general data protection act). Amongst other things an organisation/company is leagaly obliged to “forget you” if you so request. Under this clause they must delete all data they hold about you (name, address, IP address etc. Etc.).

Now, if you were to make such a request of a bookie that has previously gubbed/restricted you……

Thoughts?

If nothing else, it would be timing consuming for them if you’re feeling vindictive.

What are you thinking? Ask them to erase all trace of you and then set up a new account.. Interesting idea! When they instantly gubbed you again, you can report them for failing to comply with GDPR.

B365 make plenty of profit, it’s the least they could do.
