Took Juniors angel at 50-1 150. Strange thing is I entered £15 e/w at the 40-1 listed and it came back with a restricted max of £12 e/w but at 50-1 instead!

Dont know if this means its avaiable at 40s or 50s!

The junior angel bet/odds was at Hills

Hills top priced on every horse it seems. Gone for the 16/1, 40/1 and 50/1 shots. Hopefully not usual top 3 filling places!

Just back from 2 shops – short of time and wanted to get back to lay off on the 13:50 on which I have 2 chances

Have also tired my hand on the 13:25 – top 2 horse again albeit the odds on the 2nd one have drifted up a bit

I have learnt that you have to be so organised when doing this in shop – so much easier when at my desk with dual screens etc….

N1 mb. Didnt get on myself. Thought it was going to win in the run in. Unlucky

Yes I am sure you are right Scabadab – with hindsight I should not have backed the 2nd favourite in the 15:25 today – took a bit of a risk when i got home and overlaid it but it – it did not win fortunately but in the long run that’s not a good strategy!

No 2nd places today but I am sure I will get more over time especially if I can get into a few more shops.

Do you guys use Smarkets/Betfair when in shop or do you always wait to lay when outside? I suppose I feel quite paranoid when in shop and keep thinking the staff are watching my every move!
