Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

The 8.45 looks good.

Some value in the place markets at Hills too. Mountain Breath and Runway are both arbs..

Nice to see Sky Bet still offering insane odds on an outsider to place.. Party Fears Too to place 23.0/13.0…

Sky weren’t bad. They let me bet more in the actual place than the let me bet ew, which is backwards because at least with ew they are getting my win bet too which waters down the arb. The to place bet was just a huge straight arb.

lights were off at the sky party by the time I looked

was about to lay mountain at 15/14 when the favourite came crashing in and screwed all the odds so let it ride.

@Fog – sorry if I have misunderstood but are you saying sky offer a ‘to place’ market? Looked at a couple of races for today and can’t see it so just wanted to check my understanding.

It will appear nearer the races Ali.

A number of the big bookies offer these markets. I guess their opening prices are the crudest of models, based purely on horses price and not even the rest of market…. which gives us bad each way place terms, till the bookies react to money coming in.

Cheers betman. Will keep an eye on it when I can today. Great thread – very useful for us novices! Had some pretty poor luck with these recently so hoping to improve.
