Had about £100 on the heavily gambled fav in the first at Southwell on extra place offers (had small arb on it).

Unseated coming out of stalls… I wonder if anyone will refund stakes.

2.10 at Ripon (Monday) looks like an absolute cracker. A non runner would be nice.

1.50 Windsor could also be good.

Oh dear me bad choice on the 150 Windsor…down to 7 runners so heart in mouths moment again for u all. Really don’t see good log term value here…seems like we build up small wins and then eventually get hit by a wammy like today could be

Are you fishing? Or just trying to goad..

Even if anyone had got meaningful bets on (and laid) prior to the withdrawals, the prices now in the 2TP are pretty much in line with the odds they’d have got. So zero damage.

Speak for yourself matchedem, not all of us go for the £2-3 guarateed here and there, I prefer the bigger offers.

Funny how a couple of weeks ago you were chastising me for apparently “not recognising a good offer when its infront of me”.

    Enjoy your small wins.

The 2.10 is still good, I’m on Biddy Brady (13.0) and Gorse (26.0). Biddy win layed, waiting on Gorse to get matched.

It just doesn’t seem worth the hours effort waiting and refreshing for the best price (that might not come) and then having to be on later to pay the place. Earn more per hour in McDonald’s some days ha

All my opinion tho and each totheir own as they say. Faller assurance be back in October boom

I think waiting for prices comes when really pushing the number of runners/races you’re hitting.

Some of the races you can identify in the morning, flick in and out during the day to do the win part then lay the place just before the off. However it can take a bit more time than that, after a few missed lays and too much time watching prices im giving it a bit of a rest mid week and actually focus what I’m paid to do a bit more.
It certainly outweighs the risk and the time though, and that’s coming off the back if what I’ve said above and possibly the biggest recorded 7 horse loss on the forum!

Matchedem, if you’ve already laid in the 3TP. Just back it back. Your reduced lay won’t be far off the current market price.
You don’t have to let it run and hope to dodge a bullet.

Not always that simple or close mbpunter.

The reduction factor is based on 8 runner prices/market, you’re then looking at a reformed 7 runner market where the 3 place market could be a lot shorter if a shorter priced horse has exited the market.
