Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

15.35 at Newmarket tomorrow looks good for arbs on the place.

Sky and Will have gone EIGHT places, but I think you will find more value at bet 365 where it’s only 6 places but 1/4 odds and decent odds.

Betfair have a market for 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 places. Not much liquidity on 6 or 8 yet. Play it as you like – take the potential arbs on the place or go for jackpot on hitting an extra place.

8*0.2 > 6*0.25

I’ll be betting at WH and laying on the 6 place market looking for the extra places…. maybe a bit on the 8 place market for a bit of guaranteed profit.

Interesting result in the 3.35.. winner was 50/1 and second 100/1..
I was only on a couple and they all finished nowhere!

And third was 50/1 as well!

I got nothing on bet365, but two places with thundering blue and Chelsea lad on sky.

Overall a small loss because I had 5 picks on 365.

The 15:05 Chantilly tomorrow is throwing up some EW arbs. It’s also one of the biggest races in Europe (the biggest?) so should be boosts, higher stakes and offers.

There are 18 runners currently. Bit confused about how NR reductions work here. I thought 16+ R = 4 places minimum but 188Bet are going 3 only. And Sky are 1/5 top 5 if there are 14R or more. So if it went to 15R, would some bookies reduce place terms and others not?

Will hopefully be a redundant question anyway, given the stature of the race NRs are unlikely

It’s not a handicap so standard terms are 1/5 top 3.

So will have to look at the bookies separately to see how they alter their extra place terms if any NRs.

Plenty of bookies are going extra places. You can get Winter 11/11 at Betfair and Paddy right now, both paying four places. Lots of other opportunities around too.

Had Ulysses in third let £10 of place run, Order of St George in fourth for the extra place at Betfair and Brametot at Sky for the extra place at Sky.

Nearly forgot about this.
Value only seemed to be with paddy it Betfair last night, but was some with sky just before the off
Got ulyses 11/11 and just laid the win which worked out ok.

Don’t do extra places often have a browse at the each-way matcher on odds monkey now and again.

Was some close matches in the 16:35 race so decided to get go £50 ew on Signs of blessing @5.5 & £20 ew on Duke of Firenze @101, both with very low qualifying losses.

Didn’t get to watch the race but wow £417 profit what a result!

That last race was good for me too. Saw So Beloved priced at 33/1 and couldnt quite believe that so stuck my £20 free bet from Sky on it £10 ew and shes just steamed in in second place.
