New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Tried that with football bbobb, layed teams 1-0 up with just injury time to play. Never paid off though.
+0Yeah decent result there. Could have been better. Only had very small stake on winner compared to other runners. Last bet of Ronnie got me into profits!
+0Fog, you probably realise that many bookies arent independant and work in groups. Some of the smaller second string bookies are associated company wise with the bigger fish. So you could be able to get on more bookies.
+0What do you mean sleepless?
Without multi accounting I have almost burned all my opportunities. Restricted and barred on a lot of accounts.
I’m happy enough that some like b365 and sky don’t completely ban. With small max stakes I’ve just calculated that since June (5 months) with both together I have taken €2000. With a few other second string non gubbed accounts I take that to average about €500 per month which I’m happy. If it drops below that though will need to explore other ways.
I’m not making millions, but it’s not nothing. And I’m enjoying it.
+0Its a sad state of affairs that we’re happy bet365 dont totally restrict.
Cannot be right that they can close intelligent punters yet they’re happy to take thousands from mugs…
+0Dont be shy FoG, you’ll get a good run with most of the bookies, actually think Bet365 are the worst for gubbing and restricted multi accounts, they do it within a matter or hours or days.
Some of my accounts that are registered to the same address have lasted longer than my own original ones. One from a very popular bookmaker has been going for well over a year, ungubbed, unrestricted.

Fog, as an example there are a good hlaf dozen minor bookies in the Unibet group. If you are gubbed by Unibet then the risk associated with using these other second string bookies should be small.
Not knocking the way you do things, especially as you’re happy doing it.
+0Anyone on th 5.40?
+0Tell us which bookie then Chris
+0Yeah, I had comrade in arms in the 5.40, so turned out ok for me but could of been a disaster
+0Yeah, 1st and 2nd but 45p RF. Just cant really do much about situations like that except hide under the bedcovers
+0Long term lurker coming in.
I have managed to get the hang of just about every single other technique in matched betting, making me around £1K per month.
However no matter how hard I try, just can’t get the hang of EW raving. Even seeing close back/lay and expecting the lay to come in, whenever I bet the lay seems to do nothing but drift.Even when I see a suggestion and get in on the same odds as you guys, all I seem to do is see the lay drift. I can even be checking every 10 minutes all day and find nothing decent, and you all seem to hit big every race
Any suggestion on just what I’m doing wrong.
+0Another recent lurker checking in for the first time. Been match betting since July. Very part-time. A few welcome offers, money back / free bet / risk free offers / basic arbing on US racing etc. Still plenty of new accounts to sign up to, including B365. Making £300 – £400 a month.
Been looking at the E/W arbing posts here for a little while. Did a dry run on the 1.30 at Ayr yesterday, then tried to take the plunge on the 3.55 at Chepstow today. Just £10 e/w – start slowly and all that. The back bet was immediately “referred to a trader to review”. Not had a gubbing yet, so got spooked and closed browser. The bet didn’t go through. Is this normal for a bad e/w race, or is this a sign that I am starting to appear on The radar. I understand gubbings and stake restrictions are inevitable, but just wondered whether dabbling in e/w arbing would hasten them considerably…
+0sleepless – oh I couldn’t. Definitely does not rhyme with Shillingham Pills though.
Alex1 – those lays drifting are probably because we’re all gobbling up the liquidity :P Must just be bad luck though, dont let it put you off and dont be afraid to take small losses on the win parts, its normal especially in bad ew.
Matchtime – doesnt look good, restrictions dont necessary mean gubbings though. What was the price you tried to get in that 3.55 race?
+0Simply loveleh
