Just wondering whether anyone has dabbled with this – the back a horse at 4.0 or higher and get your money back if it goes odds on in play then loses?
I’ve always left this alone on the basis that it was unlikely to be profitable based on frequency of it occurring, one you factor in the slightly higher lay odds and commission. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?
Also, any issue with qualifying if you’re gubbed on SB?

“Lost” about £80 over 2 days so think I’ll keep laying.
Yeah not a bad offer – 4 refunds for me. One each day I’ve done this.
I’ve gone for the no lay approach, which so far has not been kind. Minus £68 after taking into account the four refunds.
Yesterday I was “lucky” in that all the horses I backed bar one ended up with a shorter exchange SP than my back price – that’s not much consolation when none of them win though!
If I get to minus £200 I’ll probably call it quits.
