Betfair Exchange racing offer

Just wondering whether anyone has dabbled with this – the back a horse at 4.0 or higher and get your money back if it goes odds on in play then loses?

I’ve always left this alone on the basis that it was unlikely to be profitable based on frequency of it occurring, one you factor in the slightly higher lay odds and commission. Anyone have any thoughts or experiences with this?

Also, any issue with qualifying if you’re gubbed on SB?

Had seen this offer and gone from thinking it wasn’t worthwhile to thinking it probably is.
Some good examples of variance reading this thread!

Possibly misconception on “0% ql”, unless of course you are trading to compensate commission.
The genuine ql is going to be whatever your commission rate is. If you lay that may increase by the market spread unless you are quick/lucky to cut the middle.

Been passing by a bit but not much useful on here these days, evidenced by the posts in the last 24hrs! Better off using my time reading other resources or actually betting

Surprised with this offer more on here aren’t punting, perfect opportunity for those who like a gamble or think they know better than the markets

I’ve got some genius stats. I think the average horse I pick shortens by 10% in price, before doubling in the last 10 mins before the off. Needless to say I’m down so far with an average back price of 4.7 and bsp of 6.9

Yeah, it’s definitely quiet at the moment.

I signed up with oddsmonkey a few months back, loads of activity on that forum but you have to read through a lot of waffle to find anything interesting.

My record on this offer has been abysmal so far but I’m keeping at it with the no-lay approach..
