Horse Racing (13th Feb)

  • Guess its my turn to create the Horse Race thread!

    Channel 4 Races – Newbury 1:50/2:25/3:00/3:35 Warwick: 2:05/2:40

    My thoughts:

1:50: 8 Runners (Currently) – Sky offering 2nd/3rd, William Hill (Mobile Only), Ladbrokes will both be doing 2nd. Therefore cover 3 horses with those offers, add in bet365 4/1 and also maybe betfairs 3/1. If you are very lucky you could get 1st with Bet365/2nd with WH/Lads & 3rd with Sky, unlikely but you never know!

2:05: 6 Runners – A few low odds here therefore making it a strong possibility to bag a 2nd refund using WH with one and Ladbrokes with another.

2:25: 7 Runners – A few low odds also so not a bad shout again.

2:40 3 Runners – and therefore probably not worth touching.

3:00 5 Runners – therefore I would wait to see if there are any non runners, one donkey being 100/1 therefore could be a good chance on this one.

3:35 22 Runners – I doubt i’ll be touching this one. Sporting bet are doing 2nd/3rd so maybe pick a horse with Bet365 and cover 1st/2nd/3rd depending on qualifying losses, but i’ll probably leave it!

Good luck guys, fingers crossed for a profitable one!!

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Yeah, I could really do with my Paddy horses to stop winning.

Oh well. Anyway the next one is the big one hopefully get something out of the 1.50 at Newbury.

Paddy, will hill, skybet, ladbrokes, betfair, bet365 all have offer on it. You could also use your coral and betway offer on this one.

Surely Skybet, WillHill and Ladbrokes are the ones to do on this..?

Still got two fairly decent chances with Paddy offer today with the 2.25 and 4.45. Also may as well go for the 1.50 and 3.35 to increase chances elsewhere.

The gubbing is inevitable for all of us, may as well rinse them before it comes.

    My selections for 1.50

Sykes with Ladbrokes – got 5 and 5.1
Millanisi Boy with Paddy Power – got 6 and 6.2

As its been pointed out Sky odds are poor (they always are on these offers) but I’m looking at zeroshadesofgrey. Really dont fancy the rest of the field including Argocat who has the tightest back and lay odds.

2.05 at Warwick also goes off shortly afterwards, gone for Jennies Jewel at Ladbrokes for a second place and got 3.75/3.85

Giving William Hill a break today

There are 8 horses but 5 of them are 7/1 and under! So very open.

So I have just gone with the favourite on sky bet which covers me 2nd and 3rd. And covered myself for a free bet if he finishes off 1st with betfair.

Gave will hill and paddy a pass on this one… Too open.

Based horses on prices. If all goes tits up, I lose £0.63

    Skybet – Batavir
    WillHill – Sykes
    Bet365 – Count Guido

If like me you took odds of 4 and 4.3 on Meet the Legend in the 1.20 race then Paddy have given you an additional £12.50 in winnings as best price guarantee. A tidy £10 profit there.

I also went simply on prices:

    WH – Sykes
    Lads – Zeroshades
    Sky – Argocat

Sadly lost +~£3 so hope to win something.
