Horse Racing (20th Feb)

Right the most profitable day of the week by miles (for me anyway) Saturday is finally here and this brings with it the Channel 4 racing!! The races are as follows:
Ascot 1.50 2.25 3.00 3.35
Haydock 2.05 2.40
Wincanton 3.20The following offers are available to us: Sky MB 2nd 1:50 Race, William Hill MB 2nd all races (Mobile only) Ladbrokes MB 2nd all races. Bet365 4/1 Winner, Betfair 3/1 SP Winner.
Betway have their usual £10 x 3 bets and we also need to remember Coral’s amazing off of bet £20 on odds of 2/1.Race 1 – Ascot 1:50 6 Runners at present, looking at the current odds there are 3 horses which are a lot more likely to win then the other 3. I will be using Sky 2nd/Ladbrokes 2nd/WH 2nd to hopefully bag a free bet here.
Race 2 – Haydock 2:05 6 Runners one being an absolute outsider 50/1 so 5 runners looks like a good chance.
Race 3 – Ascot 2:25 5 Runners so be careful if one is a non runner we won’t be able to use the MB 2nd Ladbrokes or William Hill.
Race 4 – Haydock 2:40 8 Runners looks fairly open
Race 5 – Ascot 3:00 11 Runners which makes it difficult
Race 6 – Wincanton 3:20 4 Runners so pretty much useless other than bet365 4/1 or betfair 3/1.
Race 7 – Ascot 3:35 8 Runners.
Lets hope for a profitable one!

New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

I dont buy the not withdrawing from bookies argument. If you put cash in and want to appear that you’re a gambler playing to win then why would you leave it in there or gradually lose it all? If you win big, like I have at Ladbrokes today then why not take it out?
+0I fully agree with your logic and use to follow it myself. However, based on what I’ve heard from others and on my past experience, I believe withdrawals bring you to the attention of the bookies. My point being, if a bookie looked into any of our accounts, it wouldn’t take from long to establish that we are solely/predominantly betting on promotions/value bets. Lads has millions of customers so obviously can’t look into everybody’s account but are more likely to do so, if somebody is making a large withdrawal.
Of course I don’t know for certain and I agree that not withdrawing large amounts following big wins is rather peculiar behaviour. However, i think it does keep us under radar. There is of course plenty of other factors, different speculation and bookies probably have different procedures. I keep my withdrawals down to a minimum and it has served me well whilst I see others get caught.
+0They gubbed me after a few ton-plus wins on c4 races. Looking back at my account history , all I bet on was money back offers, and each stake was always £25. I dont think withdrawals effect your account too much, more important is to mug bet and to mix up your stakes. Ive been doing this with coral and hills and those accounts are still ok for now at least.
Not having ladbrokes is having a big impact on my profits as I can only use hills for c4 racing 2nd places. Made £30 today when used to be double that.+0Well I actually do do a few mug bets here and there on the Ladbrokes app, I dont even lay them off, same with bet365, those two apps are the best. Hopefully that keeps me open. Losing Ladbrokes would be no biggie at present but would hit my new weekly profit totals which are well above £100 now.
+0Guys can you just clarify something for me. It was the first time doing the betfair 3/1 offer.
Just having a think about it, if your horse wins you get a £25 free bet which means £20 at 80%.
So surely you can overlay every horse so theres no qualifying loss?
Dont know why I didnt do that today.
Obviously have to give up some of your profit if it wins but removes any cost+0Yes you can overlay but because of longish (5.0+) odds the profit is eaten up quickly. Play around on a calculator.
+0Yeah its not as good as I was hoping. I usually overlay on the bet365 offer but didnt think about doing it on betfair. Obviously works if you manage to get very good matches
+0Get regular offer updates, tip and tricks, big offer alerts and more straight to your inbox.
Or if a horse gets heavily backed into 11/4 you’ll lose money as the offer is sp with betfair
+0Ice Magic if you bet to ensure zero loss you WILL lose eventually. The profit is in the second place offer not in the weather u lose or win £1. In FACT by ensuring you don’t lose anything you are actually gambling
+0Matchedem you need to read what he’s talking about better before making clever comments. He isn’t on about mbs offers at all. Ice magic is correct in that you can ensure no losses on the bet365 offer if you can overlay at a good price as their offer relates to the price you take. Betfair a offer is similar but is settled at sp so overlaying may not be a good idea.
+0I can confirm you can overlay bet365 offer as obviously if it loses you lose your stake on bet365 but win more than your stake even after commission on the exchange, and obviously if it does however win you can make up the extra liability with the risk free bet you receive. However, as stated above it is a little more risky on the betfair 3/1 as if suddenly the horse SP is below 3/1 you then have extra liability but no free bet afterwards. (which you guys already know). However unless I am mistaken the bet365 offer isn’t full proof either, as if a non runner is declared and your odds then drop below 4/1 this will then count towards the risk free bet and then you’d bet a loss, granted this won’t happen too often! Please correct me if i’m wrong!
+0Just noticed I won 22 quid from yesterday’s racing due to BOG. Backed the winner in the 1.50 at Ascot at 4.5 layed at 4.7. Got paid out at a tasty 5.5 First time a BOG has worked in my favour!
+0don’t patronice me please
+0I think you just got the wrong end of the stick matchedem
+0ok sorry
