Such a weird set of responses, can only assume could be the same person with a vendebter. And wholly sorry I meant holy just looked it up now. Its not a need to gloat or brag please re-read my message. I’m encouraging others, encouraging postivity on the forum, encouraging sharing offers etc. Yet the 3 repliees I’ve not seen anything on this from in the past 3.7 months!

Anyway back to the point of the thread…

Don’t like stating figures but a great month to get me well ahead of the game. Enough now to say that leaving my job last summer has so far been the right decision! Touch wood it continues and well done to everyone whose taken a chunk of the bookies bottomline.

One thing matchedem got right was that it was a very good month.
I have been doing this for about 6 ot 7 years and, surprisingly, this was my best month ever.

Maybe one month you will come in as Top Dog again (possibly August as I am away for 18 days), but for now leave the steak munching to me and stick with you manky old soggy dog biscuits. You did get close to my amount though, just double yours and add a grand on top and you wouldn’t have been too far off.

I think we may have to ban these monthly profit threads… They seem to be doing more harm than good.

It would be both more interesting and helpful if you posted a breakdown of your profits by method, in order to help others understand methods they may be missing out on.

I’ve only been in the game for around 6 months and my best month was in March where I shaded just over £5,000, and all from a single set of accounts in my own name. Much of that came from racing – each way dutching (each way on every horse in a race) and win dutching (covering every horse in a small field, striking when the book is c100%) to pick up Best Odds Guaranteed on drifters, ITV racing refunds (365, Betway, Betfair SB), High 5 and football offers of which Will Hill’s Four Means More seemed particularly lucrative.

My earnings have slowed dramatically since then. April was just shy of £2,000 and I largely took May off for one reason or another. I certainly find flat racing to be considerably less lucrative than National Hunt so I’d be interested to hear how someone is churning big profits at this time of year, and also how many sets of accounts whey are working.

The events in Manchester were tragic and I’m sure we’ve all been affected to one extent or another, but this is a matched betting forum and I have no issue with @matchedem or the nature of this thread.

I think it’s a good idea to touch base once a month but I agree with @Fandango… Instead of posting profit figures and it being a competition about who has made the most profit, you guys should be focusing on which areas are proving the most profitable and what’s changed in that particular month.

Well said Matt & glad to see these threads coming to an end as they are part of the reason I don’t post here much.
This site, and inclusive the forum, I love because of the help but there has become too much willy waving recently to the point we’ve had these type of threads every couple of weeks & they serve no productive value in my opinion.
