New to matched betting?
My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

@matchedem – are you able to provide a vague breakdown of profits for this month? like which offers they were on?
+0Will take a look for u all tomorrow lads
+0£250. And I’m delighted with that. If I can make that, risk free, every month then that’s more than enough for me.
That’s from things like Betfred’s bet 3 get 1 free on greyhounds and tennis, Skybet free bet club (and in the process of qualifying a few BOG wins), 888 50% winnings boosts and a few arbs where prices have been boosted.
I don’t have the time to do every offer and frankly and I don’t have the inclination either. I have a full time job and a life outside of work. I’d be interested to know how much time people are spending doing this each month and what their hourly rate works out as. For me there comes a point where there are just more important things in life.
That said, I bloody love match betting. I was a classic mug punter for years so to actually make any money from bookies is brilliant.
+0Agree with the comment about how much time people put in to it. Some websites I see claiming you can make £1,000 a month must assume you have no job or hobbies. Stuff like sequentially laying accumulators and even the Betfred greyhound offers can take up considerable time. I tend to do in when I have a free evening but can’t really be bothered with every single offer.
+0commercial aspect always has to be relevant, its a good point cosmos
+0Happy for you cosmos
+0As promised he is my information on my profit breakdown for May. Before anyone kicks off a few people have asked for this to help them. I have broke it down as simple as I could but only the offers with more than £25 profit in total so obviously the total will be short and things are missing (doing this makes me more gutted ive lost laddies today :/)

Seems the doggie has silanced his criticks
+0Unless you’ve been multi accounting with Lads you’d have needed around 35 refunds for 2nd places to get this figure… #Bollox
+0matchedem – referring to my earlier post, what do you reckon your hourly rate works out at? That’s a hell of a lot of bets to have placed. Very good numbers but I sometimes wonder if people would be better off working at McDonalds considering the time it must take 🙂
I know matched betting is a hobby rather than a job but still, I’m genuinely interested in the trade off between time spent and money earned.
+035 refunds in a month. That’s only one per day which isn’t really far fetched. Especially if multiple accounts.
Well done matchedem.
There must be a certain efficiency to doing multiple offers on the same races with different bookies. I imagine you can scan a race card and think oh he would be good for fallers, that would be good for 2nd, oh look betstars has an arb on his price.
Might not be as time consuming as I imagine you’re day to be.
It sounds though that you would be “working” from about 11am to the last race every day to be able to hit as much offers as you seem to be. Including weekends.
Also it’s hard to imagine you are hitting so many offers and not losing your accounts pretty quickly. I always feel horses is the worst for losing accounts. But I guess you have so much activity every day even on marginal value offers that they all think you are a gamblers addict. Because you are hitting lower value offers they may not have marked you as a professional gambler. I mean I don’t expect many ppl that are making money gambling are even remotely interested in offers like money back 2nd to sp or fallers. It will be big stakes on ew arbs I would think.
+0Imagine believing this figure lmfao… and for the record Lads MB2nd wasn’t on for more than 15 days…
+0First month of matched betting and it’s gone well, would like to see some figures like you big chaps make but I’ve managed to hit £600 first month with only a few new customer offers (I used to like casinos a few years back so already had most of the big bookie accounts)
+0Will respond to comments properly tomorrow as no chance today with the offers galores but re the Ladbrokes comments, that includes a couple of BOG bonuses of a few hundred I think. Probably only hit half the FBs you mention, but when I hit BOG i just enter the extra amount on the same line BOOM
+0i had a multiple account with ladbrokes and hit 5 seconds on one day in may, account was then gubbed
assume those listed as “horses” are boosts and each way arb
i thought matchedem was only recently an each way arber, take out the ladbrokes and edge and it drops down significantly, (seen as those products lasted a month at max)
do i doubt somebody these levels of profits? no
i use multiple accounts, and give those people a share of the profits, hence i have to log every single bet, so i know how much time it takes to do this
add in a full time job too, you can see why many on here start to believe some posts are fantasy
i have a full time job, but i take a very keen interest in sports and particularly horse racing, so matched betting is also somewhat of a hobby for me
