Has anyone seen this advertised in shops? Backed Arsenal today so should have a free bet, but the cashiers didn’t seem to have a clue when I asked them about the MBS. Should I have written MBS on the slip?

    Hey

I placed my bet in London and it was advertised in all the paddy power shops I went too. Also there was a bet slip which said money back if your team is losing half time for the arsenal match. So you should get your free bet. However I’m not an expert in shop betting but I hope I was of some use

Usually they scan the slip and they know. Sometimes (well just once for me) the lad checked the scores himself on his phone and then called the office to make sure and had to add the free bet manually.

I usually collect mine a couple of days late and the free bet coupon is then valid for one week. I don’t be near a paddy every day.

Arsenal were 26/27 at one point. Not a bad extraction for a free bet.

They just scan them like Fog said, and it come up as free bet –
They will then give you a free bet slip which will have the expiry date on it( i think you get a week maybe two)

Make sure though to get your free bet slip within 1 week otherwise you won’t be able to collect it as it will expire and your slip will just scan as a loser (like your arsenal win bet today

You can bet in anything, I tend to put them on horses, I was very lucky today as i used my free bet on a horse at 10/1 and underlaid it at 10/1 it won but i got BOG of 12/1

I was wondering do you get BOG on free bets , the answer is yes

    One other note to note

If you backed a No runner or on an abandoned football game
You will lose your free bet( Its happened to me on football)
So obviously something to be aware of

I hope that answers everything :)

Good info bugs couple of corrections tho…one I went to collect my free bet 2 weeks after the event so think u can do this. Two I’d highly doubt u should lose your free bet if a horse is a non runner as never seen that happen online…anyone have extra info here…I work in FACTS not hearsay

Hit 200 hit of FBs from the Arsenal on these, also Arsenal were 4.33 on coupons and 4.1 on the exchange yesterday so I was putting hundreds on in shops and arbing over 5 profit each time alone. You need the BR to be able to do that though.

Online is different to shops in regards to free bets , You can ring retail and ask them if you want

I just did, and they said that you have one week to collect your free bet and one week to use it – Also if your bet is a no runner you will lose it

I bet 100 so 4 25euro bets on Finn Harps to beat Sligo a few weeks back, the game was abandoned after 30 mins due to heavy rain
When i went in store they told me you get your stake back but as my stake was zero i get nothing back,
If you are lucky the person behind the counter can up to their own discretion give u a free bet, I managed to get 2 -25 euro bets back, i have given up with the other two, i have gone to a few shops and most say no straight up.

    Dan what is the BR?
Also if you are talking about the odds on the coupons being 4.33, and thinking you will get those prices, you won’t , you only get what ever price is as of time of the bet.
Unless the BR gets you better odds?

I did Arsenal but they only gave me 14/5. I did see they were 10/3 on the coupon but surely they won’t offer you that?

Thinking of setting up another account in Fathers name. Different address, bank but same computer.

Good idea ?. Realise it will increase chance of gubbing.

If ok would you suggest betting on both teams if similar odds, or one team twice if long odds.
    Could have doubled Arsenal FB’s.
