+0I guess it’s just a matter of time before they gub us all. Bit of a disaster really, I thought Sky were friendly to matched bettors. Would be interesting to hear Patrick’s take on Sky. Fog, were you doing all of their free bets? Do you do any mug bets? I think I basically only take advantage of their offers…

Cant help but think that jumping on all those treble boosts with the maximum £25 bet has contributed to these gubbings. I always say its not worth the risk especially when the trebles are so unlikely to win, like yesterdays. Underlaying isnt so risk free after all.

I joined Sky in July 2015, mostly for the Sky Bet Club.
I do all the promotions.
I never really mug betted. I did just recently started doing an acca on my Super 6 picks – but that’s all. Don’t really believe in mug betting.
I do a lot of boosts too, not just the ones that you can lay – some things that don’t have an active market on betfair but look good value then I will get on them – so I don’t know if that counts as mug betting.
I won a free bet yesterday with Nipper in Sandown I think @ 5/1. So I win a fair bit on them.
Don’t really do a lot of withdrawals, and none very recently like in the last 30 days.
I put 50 in July. Took 250 out on 2nd Feb. My balance is 730.

Chris, on the boosts I rarely bet the max. I usually punt just enough to return €50. So if the boost is 9/1 I will have punted €5 on it.

Sad times FOG definitely need to get your hands on a second Sky account, worst time to happen with a guaranteed £60+ from them next week also. Be interesting to see if your stakes are restricted? as they said you can still do price boosts? so they still will be worth some profit to you just not as much? i.e like today Giroud FGS 5.5 lay was 5 if you can whack over £100 on it…easy money.

Apparently they are not sending emails according to my chat agent. He said they can’t send an email for every change to the account.
Everyone should contact them before staking a bunch on the horses. You might be restricted you know.

Nearly had a heart attack when I noticed this thread . I didnt do the free fiver as was out today. Spoke to them on chat and all good. I normally place 2 mug bets either side of a promo, hard to say if that helps but I dont think it does any harm.

Agreed bad plan…rather just put the horse bet on Tuesday and if you don’t get a free bet then you know..
