William Hill Brand New Racing Offer – 2 Clear!

  • Fine folk. High 5 promotion has ended today and while a few suggested it will be replaced by beaten by a neck – they are wrong! I’m not entirely sure if people will like this one but here’s the replacement called 2 CLEAR starting from tomorrow at Windsor – Back a horse to win and receive 15% of your winnings as a free bet if he wins BY 2 LENGTHS. The good thing – it’s only 2 lengths now which is great. The bad thing – percentage cut to 15% and I don’t think there’s a refund for the 2nd place! Your thoughts?

Like I said, its probably the course, just make a note that Windsor isnt a good one. Exactly the same applied to High 5, there were some courses that were goldmines, others that never paid out once.

Soft ground will probably be better also….

where as i found the high 5 offer much better on the lower mid week standard of racing, it was less competitive, big jockey goes somewhere for an even money shot in small fields over like 3 miles on soft ground

this offer might be only be good for the better standard racing, anybody who watches the low grade flat racing, especially like all weather, a lot of races the finishes are in heaps

the issue for me is just getting the tight matches, dont know if there might be something in with how hills price them up, i want to say they are at times so short, that seconds before off they might be shorter than the eventual sp

5/4 favourite at redcar won 8 runner 3.20pm by 2.75 lengths

anybody that knows windsor, maybe not many are horse racing enthusiasts lol, but windsor is shape of 8 figure track

it is not a galloping track with a 5 furlong plus straight, it is circles and sprint for home

need tracks that will suit the offer – as chris says

Marv makes some good points. These were all very open races, the first race, I think most of the horses were running for the first time and the others were low Grade with horses that absolutely no consistent form.

There will be better days on this.

Great idea to research the shape of the track too. Perhaps for tomorrows meeting, someone can take a look and see if there is a nice straight for a horse to potentially bolt clear.

First things first though, we actually have to pick a winner.
