  • Fine folk. High 5 promotion has ended today and while a few suggested it will be replaced by beaten by a neck – they are wrong! I’m not entirely sure if people will like this one but here’s the replacement called 2 CLEAR starting from tomorrow at Windsor – Back a horse to win and receive 15% of your winnings as a free bet if he wins BY 2 LENGTHS. The good thing – it’s only 2 lengths now which is great. The bad thing – percentage cut to 15% and I don’t think there’s a refund for the 2nd place! Your thoughts?

    I dont think its good or bad at the moment, you have complained a lot about this offer and its only been on for less than 2 days. Like I said yesterday, it will depend on track, a good home straight, quality of the field etc.

    Windsor will really be one of the worst tracks for this, along with any tight turning track

    Ponty is one of biggest in country, and while the track is less than 2 furlongs, they get racing from a fair way out

    Biggest problem for me will be finding good tight matches, but seemed to go through periods of the high 5, not being able to get good matches, then spells of always doing so

    I only back the short prices, favourite usually
