Why 4:30, only see 1/5 odds across bookies?

Still some big place arbs at 1/5. I got £35 EW on Pantera 13/15 earlier. I saw Tuscany laying at 14.5 earlier but was too slow

A bad ew race doesnt have to be 1/4 odds billy. 4.30 was prime as it had a massively hot favourite, a weakish 2nd fav and big (early) prices on the rest of the field.

The 5.20 at Galway looks an absolute beauty but its super high risk now with a non runner and liquidity may or may not appear.

Number runners looking ok (touch wood)

I got a bit carried away with a random William hill special boost they gave me (looks like a trial) and have only matched a little bit so far. May need to try and lay some in running

    13.40 at Yarmouth – 188bet are 1/4 odds e/w. Currently 10 runners.

    Cheers Chris.
I’ve been out all day and wasn’t even going to bother checking the races until I saw this.
Had a few quid on Sky of Stars, that’s paid for lunch..

I was amazed how well that price held as well.

I got on at 4 and then again at 3.75..
It started to drift so I thought I might get some BOG on the bet at 3.75 but apparently not…ah well, can’t be too greedy!

You want to be getting on outsiders in bad ew races gentlemen. Sky of Stars would have been good insurance if covering the other horses, commission saver for example.

I was on third and fourth in the betting at 13.0 and 17.0 respectively but both flopped. The horse in third was 34.0 but qualifying loss was too big so didnt take the risk. Was a great race for this though.

    I disagree Chris.
I go for outsiders too but if there is value there then why wouldn’t you go for it.
Quite often a second favourite that is short odds is perfect..
If you’re underlaying it’s a lot more likely to come in.
The bookie will let you put a lot more on it..
And there’s more chance of BOG..

I was in the same 2 as you Chris, but 11 and 17
I didn’t realise that the one at 11 hadn’t fully matched so I ended up cashing/backing out of that given the drift. Shame the other only came 4th as that would been decent payout
