  • Right an idea I got from oddsmonkey, we post the daily bad EW races on here with no chat or discussion, plenty of topics for that. Think this thread will help us all in case you don’t think it will just skip this please ?

    Yep nothing throwing anything up atm, got a one or two bits to keep an eye on, but not uprooting any trees!

    Just out of interest. I know you guys use shops a lot, but I hear ew stakes of £100-200 being placed from guys on the forum.

    I don’t even want to try that on the likes of paddy and 365 as they are healthy accounts for me atm. And when 365 gub, they tend to heavily stake restrict.

    I just found a horse arbing atm so I set up a Betvictor account – wouldn’t let me put anymore that £25EW on?

    What bookies are you guys bounding around much higher stakes? Or is it just shops taking these types of bets on high odds horses?

    Anyone manage to pick up any scraps yet? I’ve got a bit on Final Destination in the 14.55 but certainly nothing to get excited about!

    Prices are pretty static today which is a shame. I lumped some on Final Destination – first mistake for a while I feel.

    Scabbadab, maybe you can help me here. So took a price of 26 on final this morning, he was laying at 28 on Smarkets and had a small place arb@5.5. Should I have taken a potential slender profit/chance of him placing there and then? I decided to wait, odds everywhere else were a lot shorter so seems a good take at the time.

    Now the odds have just drifted and drifted to the point where I feel now I just take a punt on him coming in? But I hate gambling. Where did I go wrong? What would you do now? Or is it just one of them things?
