Yes I know the early price had it odds on, I saw it as low as 1.6 but shortly after I lumped money on two of the horses, the favourite started drifting and my win lays came in almost instantly.

And yeah also benefitted from that late withdrawal. The bookie I had £50 ew at didnt return the odds but smarkets brought it down quite substantially so an extra £24.

Steve, i think dusty bin was bigger than 14/1 in that race?

He was 20/1 which does indeed explain why the bookies didnt deduct, completely missed the obvious there, but we’ve benefitted from smarkets reducing the place liabilities either way.

Anyone else on the 6.15 Kempton?

High risk, holding my breath going in to the stalls but two massive place arbs here.

Yes was a good en, big odds still being offered 15 minutes before the off which was quite odd. 60% return on the underlay for me which is awesome.8:45 could have potential with a little liquidity

Sounds like your at the stage chris where you could go full time with all this. Well done on some of your recent wins.

Well beesty I did take two months out of work to have a go and whilst I made a little more than my previous take home salary, I found it quite taxing and exhausting which in turn made it less enjoyable. Boredom eventually got the better of me and I went back to work.

Thanks though, not my intention to boast just help others and show how going for the outsiders is where the money is.

Chris – how are you picking your outsiders?

Is it purely based on the odds or is it your knowledge?

Mostly on odds but also a little on form. I pick out horses who arent fav or second fav and are at least 12/1 ideally longer (thats after all what makes it a bad ew).

Sir Jack has been absolutely smashed in on this 8.45 race, was 26.0 about 30 mins ago.

He can’t go full time, he’s got a house to buy first!

Assuming you’ve saved most of it Chris you must have a nice amount for a deposit on a house now – you’ve been doing it a lot longer, more intensely, probably better and with an extra set accounts on me….thats a lot more than my first deposit!

Well I have blown a load of money on long haul holidays and other luxuries but yeah, I have a healthy amount for my deposit. However, i do live in London and the housing market isnt exactly inviting right now with everything going on.
