Hilary Clinton popular vote

Hey

I think I’ve spotted a potential arb but have no idea. Hilary Clinton to win the popular vote is 7/2 with paddypower and betfred but is laying at 3.6 (4.5 vs 3.6) on betfair. Am I reading this correctly or am I looking at two completely different markets. Any help appreciated?

Thanks MonkeyTennis I was going to point out the same! orlandosteve is all that appears to be wrong with the new breed of match betting folk….been doing it 2 minutes and yet knows it all. I’ve placed more matches than he has had hot dinners

And who cares how virtue is spelt anyway its the message that matters. So saying that getting back onto topic…still no pay out at betfair?! How long do americans take to count! Seems as soon as the winner was found they stopped bothering FACTUALLY

Arizona and New Hampshire have declared, only Michigan to go. Why it is taking this long I have no idea tbh! You would think in this day and age they would have quicker ways of totalling up ballots.

It looks like there are only 12k votes in it, out of over 4.5m total so maybe they are recounting or something? The annoying thing is that it is irrelevant to the overall outcome of the market!

Betfair go by what CNN say so that’s the site to keep an eye on.

Don’t think so Pickle.

People were backing and laying the same thing (mutually exclusive outcomes) rather than backing Clinton over 50% of vote and laying Clinton to be Next POTUS.

Made a tidy sum, totally risk free I can assure you :) Just want Betfair to fecking well settle the Electoral College Votes markets already!!

HAHA sorry Tony. Yeah i thought the original post when he made a second one saying 50.1 to 53 or whatever it was was against her not becoming president. On further inspection id picked it up wrong. Hadnt even noticed youd replied when i edited it.

Doesn’t matter to me too much but it is getting annoying now knowing every bet has lost but because of one state we are still waiting.

Mind due at least it’s not like the 2000 election which did not get settled until mid December.
