Withdrawal Issues 138.com & 12 bet

  • initiated both withdrawals on the 19/3 about £500 pending and nothing contacted chat again and they are saying they were overwhelmed by Cheltenham and are still processing acount checks blah, blah, blah and can i give them until the end of this week. It’s now 10 days on, getting nervous here…

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Chris try not to worry too much matey. A lot of people in the same boat. It’s gonna take some time. I only have 60 still in 12bet account which is quite frankly nothing really but out of principle alone i’d go after them for it all the way. They will not get away with what they have done here. And they can’t just dismiss people as matchbetters without evidence either. You can go on all 4 sites and take up the offers you might just want value and be a normal punter so don’t see how that is relevant really. If they arn’t happy with people taking up their offers then they can give people the marching orders but taking funds in the process, Hell no, that’s theft and a criminal act.

Bookies are unregulated and can make their own rules.
Good thing is they are still trading and taking bets.
Will Matt be the spokesman on our behalf ?

These offers were probably posted by a lot of ‘matched betting’ websites.

For example anyone with an OddsMonkey account might want to look at their Free Bets section. And that’s a service which you pay £8 a month for so perhaps you’ll have more of a case in suing them…. (Good luck with that!)

I do admire these bookies. They know how the game is played. In, gub 30% of the winning bettors, new logo, Boom! Out! You are now a fully trained bookie.

Evening guys. Unfortunately, due to the demands of running the site, I don’t check the forum anywhere near as often as I would like to, so I apologise that this has only just been brought to my attention.

I’m sorry to hear of the problems a number of you are having withdrawing money from your accounts. I also have money in a couple of those accounts, so I share your frustration.

I’ve removed 138.com, 12BET, Fun88 and TLCBET from the free bets section of the blog and they will not be returning regardless of the outcome of the situation.

Hopefully now that the story is in the press, we will get some answers and we can only hope that the situation gets resolved and we receive our funds.

Most bookmakers to be fair have been fair in the way they have conducted their business with me, yeah I have been banned but that’s part of the process and I expect it. It’s all part of the challenges we face as match betters. What’s not expected is the appalling behaviour that we have seen from the aforementioned bookmakers. None yes thats right none of my free bets won with them only my own cash and now they won’t pay it’s going down as a loss on my balance sheet at the moment a big loss but I will get over it and fingers crossed as this story grows which it will, they will pay us *with any luck*

So taking up an offer is bonus abuse ?

About time the government took action and made all bookies who operate in the UK answerable to UK regulations.

Hiding behind companies registeted in Malta and elsewhere us not acceptable.

The UK gambling commission is a complete waste of space.

I’m down £1500 plus losing lay bets
from the exchange. With little hope of getting my money back I see it as a blip in long term profits. Who
Knows, maybe our fortune will change. It’s undoubtedly made me more cautious of the smaller books though.

God, I completely didn’t notice that my withdrawals with both these sites hadnt gone through until seeing someone mention it on another post. Just under £300 altogether so could be a lot worse I realise, and I feel for you who had a lot more but I am outraged!! What a joke, I have e-mailed demanding my money back- especially with 12bet as my deposits were considerably more than my withdrawal… has anyone had any luck actually getting there deposits back so far?

Just checked my spam folder and I too have received the 1.52 email which also says my deposits will be refunded ‘without delay’. Will be interested to see if, when and how much they refund me as I deposited more than I had in my account before it was closed with 12bet. If I do indeed get my money back from them and my deposit from 138 I for one will be counting my blessings as that will only leave me around 70 quid down. Absolute scoundrels.
