ACCA (again sorry!)

  • Hi Guys,
    First post in a while!

Thought it was time I started on the Acca’s. I feel the best method for me personally is the Lay all at the start method, I presume the no lay method is probably more beneficial, however guess i’m just a wimp!

    Result Bookmaker Exchange Your Profit
    All win (24%) £68 -£40 £28
    1 lose (40%) -£5 -£7.50 -£12.50
    2 lose (26%) -£25 £25 £0
    3 lose (9%) -£25 £57.50 £32.50
    4 lose (1%) -£25 £90 £65
    All lose (0.1%) -£25 £122.50 £97.50

I found the above online, this is based off a £25 stake and back and lay odds of 1.3/1.32. I assume this is correct?

    Any tips would be appreciated!
    Thanks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Paddie Powwer have also changed their terms, in shops at least. Min odds were 1/5 now are 1/3.

I’ve been refused FBs in recent weeks because of this. The accas were always going to be the next big thing to go.
It happened with the horse offers; they went from MB 2nd up to 50FB to MB 2nd up to 25FB. Then they went MB 2nd to SP fave.

Same with the accas. We’ve had min odds go to 1.2 to 1.33.
    Max FB of 50 down to 25 / 20 / 10

They’ll make it harder again before it gets easier.

It’s a huge blow. They’re still doable but they’re no where near as valuable as they used to be.

And now coral have dropped the acca insurance altogether and instead are offering a measly 10% boost on acca winnings.

Wow this is shit. Last season I made most of my money from Wills, Lads, Coral, Fred and Paddy accas. Coral / Fred now worthless, Wills vastly reduced, and probably Paddy and Lads to follow shortly. Sad times.

It’s a disaster Bob, but can’t say I’m surprised. I even said to a few it would happen, although didn’t think it would happen so quickly.

BetMcLean are still good for the accas.

Major League Baseball also included, and most night (not all) you will find something value there.

The big bonus with BetMcLean is the refund is cash = 100% extraction. If you get 25 on every night on baseball and then a soccer acca on mid week and one each on sat and sun. That makes 250 invested and hopefully hitting 10% ROI = 25 profit per week if you’re interested.

There still seem to be a fair few with value still, doing some sign ups but dafabet, Bruce betting and betvernons (early days in alphabet!) all seem to have value.
The problem is higher odds or more legs will increase variance

Yeah dafabet just pulled out of Ireland. I have dropped my expectations on acca offers. Before it was easy enough to get 20%, now I’m happy to find 10% return.

20% on McLean football is reasonable. I need to look into their us sports one… I miss the betfred US sports Acca with no min odds.
I’m hoping to find enough with 15%+ where i can generate a few hundred a month by churning bets over. But variance could kick in, or the lesser bookies may chop their deals too

Fun 888 are doing a £50 refund if one of your five leg accumulator lets you down. Only two things I don’t like, is you’ve got to email them if successful and minimum odds is 1.70

@ Foggy, do you think its feasible to do the no lay strategy when the minimum odds are 1.7? I’ve had a play around with the figures and even though you will be able to find plenty of plus EV accas the losing runs could be devastating to both your account and your confidence.

From my calcs you are going to be winning less that 10% of the time, and two or more legs will be losing close to 70%. This is going to lead to huge swings in variance which most people will find very difficult to deal with.

Its a real shame lots of the better offers have either been withdrawn or adversely altered for the start of this season. I was really hoping to continue to enjoy the kind of returns I achieved the last few months of last season. I guess it was too good to last.

Oh well, to try and add some positivity to this, I’ll just say that whilst Ladbrokes weekend acca insurance coupons were not really worth bothering with, hopefully they’ll do the midweek coupon for the Champions League and Europa League group stage matches this year.

I did OK out of them last year, lots of games, staggered kick off times allowing sequential lays if you want, and three branches within a 10 minute cycle ride of where I live.

    Fingers crossed for those.

Rule out 21bet. Registered yday, 1 Acca and 1 very muggy single in and they’ve blocked me from promos. Was hoping to get a few on with them and earn the £10 a week – but quick bit searching on here and they appear another to block anyone who dares to even come near a freebet

So are any actually any good now. A post detailing where the value still is would be useful to me, not sure about others. Sounds like its just William Hill!

Betmclean, dafabet, Ladbrokes, sportingbet, and hills at least.

Looks like Bruce and vernons too but I’ve not actually done any yet
