Betfair Each Way edge

So I just noticed this gizmo.

On betfair when you are placing an each way bet you can adjust the terms if you want.

For example I can bet on Top Tug in Catterick 14:20 today odds 3.25. Standard place terms are 1/5 odds, 3 places.

This is almost value as you’re getting odds 3.25/1.45 for the win/place(3) on the bookie and the lays are at 3.7/1.27 on the exchange.

BUT

If I toggle the Each Way Edge widget to only pay two places then this will increase the odds to 4.33! Giving 4.33/1.67 for the win/place(2), where the lays are 3.7/1.59 (2 to place). Which is better value.

Maybe its something someone wants to look into, but at least at first glance on this example looks like you can stretch the value you get e/w arbing by using the edge.

Anyone use this feature regularly?

I kinda wish I left this race now seeing all the sp3/1 races tomorrow, I can’t even get a penny on a race now ? Time to try open a new account, how easy is getting a new one on betfair?

Yep absolute zero now Fog and that’s on racing and football and everything in between, it is strange as this morning it was £5ew then by around 7 I was allowed to put £70ew at odds 5, now though it is zero

Same just happened to me and live chat confirmed its a full on permanent ban from betting on sportsbook.

Was a gubbed account and I have two others in the pipeline, hope you can open a new one too.

I do so by switching to my iPad on a non-wifi connection.

I have just been on LC too and they have confirmed it is permanent due to cost control in a high risk product. I’m not sure I will get away with a new account as I have used my wifi and 4g for mb’ing and also my address and bank will be the same

If you get a fresh account. You’d be better off just sticking to standard arbs and ew arbs plus promos.

Looks like they are diving all over anyone hitting this loophole.

Stick to Eway arbing with them. They seem to have doubled my limits now despite a bad Eway win yday…. they must just been happy I didn’t edge it!

What I don’t get with betfair is they can just look at exhange accounts (Unless you multi account) and work out from that activity you must be a sharp
