Acca Profit Spreadsheet

  • Hi All

I’ve been racking my brain most of the day trying to come up with a spreadsheet that generates the correct lay stakes to guarantee the expected value profit of a 6 fold acca.
After a lot of trial/error I think I’ve got something that works.
The spreadsheet can be accessed here:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gBiVP9tC1wIP-jwv_ps0uMqr-mZSPYRt-TOPkHDWHsc/edit#gid=432786789
If someone can check I’ve got this right it would be appreciated as I’d like to start doing these over the next week or so.

    Thanks

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

@omahaplyr1 Just to add to Mark’s comments, it occurs to me that one other thing to be aware of is, if you do hit a losing run, betting to the max across a number of sites your bankroll could take quite a hit. In a positive EV situation it’s going to recover eventually, provided you have the opportunity to keep betting. But unlike in poker, where no-one is going to stop you playing, the bookies are apt to take the ball away if they take a dislike to what you are doing. Admittedly, if you are losing this is less likely, but in view of the multitude of gubbing stories on here, who can say how their minds work? If you can open new accounts it would solve the problem, but the same issue could occur further down the line.

Or they could change the terms of the offer in a way which makes them less profitable. Exploiting acca insurance seems to be increasing in popularity among the matched betting community, I’m sure this won’t escape their notice. None of this is a problem (sort of) if you have already locked in your profits.

    Good points Blue.

Although if the bookies are onto ACCA insurance being exploited, running them all may be the best move. If we don’t stagger matches would we be less likely to be flagged up as abusing the offer?

@MbPunter That’s an interesting point, the bookies might take a dimmer view on accas obviously placed with sequential legs so as to guarantee profits. In which case not laying could be the smart move. But if it led to a change which affected all, you could still be left hanging if your bankroll was seriously exposed at the time.

They might also become suspicious of accas continuously placed at the lowest odds though, regardless of whether they are sequential or overlapping, as we need this to create the value.

I don’t pretend to know the answer, just putting out thoughts to consider. As Matched Bettors we tend to suffer from a bit of bookie paranoia, but trying to 2nd guess their mind set isn’t easy.

Is there an easier way to find these low odds matches than just trawling through all the major league looking for easy home games for the big teams?

@ TJ7 you used to be able to use the free version of oddsmonkey. but that has recently changed so I am not sure if its now a viable option.
