Acca Profit Spreadsheet

  • Hi All

I’ve been racking my brain most of the day trying to come up with a spreadsheet that generates the correct lay stakes to guarantee the expected value profit of a 6 fold acca.
After a lot of trial/error I think I’ve got something that works.
The spreadsheet can be accessed here:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gBiVP9tC1wIP-jwv_ps0uMqr-mZSPYRt-TOPkHDWHsc/edit#gid=432786789
If someone can check I’ve got this right it would be appreciated as I’d like to start doing these over the next week or so.

    Thanks

  • New to matched betting?

My Matched Betting Academy is the best place to get started. Learning the fundamentals takes 10-15 minutes and you’ll make £15 in the process.

Tony , how do you get that facility to edit a post ?

@patrick, you click “edit”. The option goes away after a while.

@drog, there are plenty. Try BetVictor (as Gman said), or you could even take a look at Betway. Pretty much every bookie has an acca insurance.

Thanks, I will have a look at BetVictor. Gman- be careful with Bet10, the refund can only be used on Accas! I found lads advertised on external sites but can’t find it on there so think they aren’t doing it at the moment? Gubbed from betway too ;(

    1st Question Jez

In your look up table formula for Min Profit on row W

Ist part of formula is all the final outcome chart starting WL

2nd part I though would be all the ones starting WW apart from the all wins but it looks like your not using cell O17 ?

I’ve probably not explained this very well

    I think I’ve done it 🙂

Would anybody be able to check it is throwing out the correct lay stakes ?

EDIT: It’s correct. I forgot to get rid of the 10% initially. Your first lay stake of £50.88 is correct.

    Thanks Mark

I’ll see if I can spot where I’ve gone wrong

Can’t click thru to you sheet for some reason madgolfer, but how did you expose the lookup tables and manage to edit Jez’s google sheet? It appears locked to me when I access it?

@madgolfer It’s almost correct, except the confirm stake feature no longer works

@tony I downloaded Jez sheet and edited in excel

    @Jez
I shall look into this, How should the comfirm stake feature work

    Thanks

Essentially when you enter a stake here it overrides the computed lay stake – look back at my 5 leg version. This is required when lay odds change mid-way through as old lay stakes will be updated when entering new odds, which cannot happen as the events will have passed. This is why the min-profit column is needed, as when amounts laid in the past are no longer optimal the attainable profit will depend on which ‘path’ the acca takes through the tree.

Just been looking at yours again thanks

looks like I got a mistake in the wins in the lay stake col formula

In my sheet if the leg before is loose I think the confirm stake works correct ?

If the leg before is win it goes wrong 🙂
